Does everyone got a waiting list if not offer? Wondering what is the pool size of waiting list. It seems quite a large number of kids got into waiting list.

If you had attended one of their Year 1 interview sessions, you would have noticed that they interview many children from other kindergartens beside ESF ones. They interviewed around 800 children this year, and I would say only one quarter to one third were from ESF kindergartens. RC does give interview priority to ESF kindergarten kids, but the offers they make seems quite fair to all.

Of all schools under the ESF umbrella, RC is perhaps the least "ESF like" school, and I have the impression that they aren't too happy being part of ESF either. I know how sensitive some people here could get regarding comments on particular schools, so I stress that this is only my personal perception after attending their open day, information evening, and the interview event itself.

Completely agree.RC has different criteria in choosing students.

Congratulations!! Your girl must be very smart as my friends all got waitlist. Is your girl studying in esf kindy? Do you mind to share how did your girl perform in both interviews to get such good results?

As far as I know, many kids from ESF WKS obtain at least 2 offers from ESF primary, and they are facing a problem of choosing one.

Congrat! You should have already chosen one as the deadline was 24 Feb right? I believe both are good schools

Once you have made your choice, there is not much point in asking for further comments, you should have confidence in what you have chosen {:1_1:}

係？咁有趣，過晒 deadline 先問意見？其實兩間學校很不同，應該唔難選擇。

We like its environment very much. There are children from different nationalities and a wide spectrum of background. Also, Tsing Yi is one of the pickup point for the school bus. We find it convenient than RC.

Here are just my personal experiencesand feeling after going through those process in different schools and are for sharing only. No need to challenge me if other RC/non-RC parents do not agree with

I feel ESF primary will directly offer places tothose who pass the interview from the top of the queue. RC would consider other factors (more than the interview sequence) and then offer the places to their "right" candidates.
