有興趣讀KCIS, 想問下意見，有冇讀緊的可講下學校的優劣嗎？謝！

I think it's a fair school, and good value for money. The curriculum is very tight, if not demanding. If you are a working parent want some care free strong academic program, you probably will be happy.

However, having said that, I actually transferred my son out of the school, mostly due to lack of space to play. The teacher quality is also quite diversified. They are solid good teachers, but one can't really say they are super nice and caring. Some are better teaching math, some are better teaching literature. So kids in different section might progress differently.

The Chinese curriculum is 1 hour a day, and they use local school textbook. I think in IS sense it's pretty OK.

I would recommend the school to girls. Boys might be a bit tied up due to strong discipline and lack of space.

I transferred my son out this Jan, from P2. Arguably it's not a wise move, as the school I transfer him to is less well known and less established (ICA). However, I have noticed the change after only 2 weeks at ICA: my son is more polite, his hand writing is improving and he is more willing to learn. I think the majority of the change is actually related to the fact that his daily commute is cut by half (from 2 hour to 1 hour). Plus my son is very keen on Christianality, but neither me nor my husband is religious. He is quite happy with the Christina education in ICA.

I'd say transfer from KCIS to other IS is easy, in terms of academics. KCIS has relatively demanding curriculum, and prepare the kids quite well. Unfortunately it's a bit too far and too small for my kid.

多謝回覆，是呀如果返學很遠的確辛苦。ICA我不太熟，但它的kinder small world我就識人讀，也是讚不絕口，找到適合的學校真好﹗

ICA請問學費一年是不是100K?
另有無中學?
我記得ICA係好新的
2年前SWCK都收左我女
但當時想左好耐, 都係覺得KCIS好似會好點(因為中文多些)
所以放棄左SWCK
