May I know if one is required to do the written homework if one chooses the web based online course directly with epgy.
My son has been going to infokids and he has no problem grasping the concepts or doing online course work but the offline written homework can get a little tedious for him sometimes (especially when he feels that he's mastered the concept). He's not allowed to take the grade test unless he completes both online and offline homework though.

I don't like Infokids as they use tuition centre method to teach gifted kids, each kid is different and progress not the same, but they forced kids to finish a module at the same time 13 weeks, it doesn't make any sense.

As my son didn't take the on line program, I only listen from parents enrolled the on line program, EPGY allows more flexibility for kids. I guess EPGY may only go for on line exercise, Infokids provided homework more for local parents, it's HK parents mindset, must have homework after lesson.

EPGY online maths course is a good choice as a start. The design and outline of the curriculum is fantastic for the young one. My son completed accelerated grade 4 maths in the last summer. It took him about 6 weeks.

Thank you both. So there was no offline homework at all? Just online coursework and a final online exam?

My son has gone through G2 to G5 @ infokids in the last 12 months but as i said he finds the offline work tedious. I may enrol directly with epgy if that is the case.

I make application on web, not via "infokids".

They are helpful if kid has capacity for course.

My friends via infokids, result is very "BAD".

You could enroll the test via Stanford or CTY talent search.

If your son took the talent search, then go for the courses provided by CTY directly. The courses of graded maths shared the same resources-EPGY. That's why even though my son joined CTY, he could take the maths course by EPGY.
Besides, there's a wide range of choices in maths, science, computer & engineer.
If you look for EPGY, then your son has to take another test again.
