唔好意思呀，我仔維記何文田今朝收左佢插班，學校俾1日我考慮，明天要覆佢。本身讀緊耀中，因為耀中轉晒全日班所以想轉校，咁維記又係IB學制。維記既家長可以分享下小朋友係學校既情況嗎？十分感謝

If tuition isn't a concern and you like Yew Chung's teaching philosophy, I would keep him at Yew Chung, as it is a thru train school and you won't have to worry about finding primary and secondary schools later on.

其實你target什麽小學，想小朋友條路點行？

我相信每間分校應該都差不多，分別在於兩文三語定英普班。

維小7班最多應可收210人，維幼有priority, 舊年數據上收左196個維幼生。今年第一年有50個debenture位，維幼優先認購，不過我冇買都收左。維幼k3有6百幾人，不過有好多都楝local小學唔上維小

吾係ga，維小大部份收維幼學生，只不過維幼有咁多間分校，收吾晒啫，約1/5至1/6左右啦，亦吾係個個都報Vsa的。

雖然維記係EK吾多fans，不過其實考直資私小真係幾好，今年我識的家長，無人無offer，好多吾只一個。當然有人吾滿意，覺得在手果間吾能夠充份反映自己小朋友的talent，但其實今年咁癲，有offer都吾係容易。

我約10，11月send email去問插班K2 , 佢地有即時reply ，內容大致係有機會interview 先會再電話通知，我有email埋學歷同證書。

維記真係好 caring, 我好放心比個女返學，由校車叔叔嬸嬸到學校護士，嬸嬸，老師，我敢講都比屋企姐姐好，所以可能返學仲安全過响屋企！小班教學，30個學生有3個老師加嬸嬸，基本上冇一個會被 miss，我個女超慢熱，响學校影親相都企响最後，又成日喊，唔合作，但係老師仍然好留意佢對數學有興趣，語言發音唔太好，同永遠唔鐘意企响前面做 attention 。可是今年競爭太大而唔想2年後再玩呢個遊戲，決定唔上 k1 入龍校，我都好唔捨得。

Also i believe the schools primary allocation results give a good guidance on their kids competitiveness.

The reason being it shows the.factual final destination of the kids.  No matter how many offers one kid gets, only one primary school will be presented on the primary allocation chart.  So good results may be under-reported.

Some schools presents total offers information but that kind of information tend to present best case scenarios only.

Some exceptional kids could have got 10 good offers and the unsatisfactory cases of other students could be marred.

Suppose 50 % of the students get average 3 good offers, this is already enough to cover up the real case of the other 50% students not getting any offers.

吾單只甘，total number of offers系家長自己話比學校聽自己有什麽offers，放弃左邊d，準確性存疑！

If you're not confident in the school or think it's suitable for your child, why apply for it in the first place?

Now you are holding onto an offer while other family is out of luck.

I want to know how 維記 Pre-Nursery select students to K1. Will all PN students be promoted? When will parents find out if their child can't be promoted to K1. Does anyone know what they look at in PN?

I think all PN students have a seat for K1, they will ask parent to pay the 留位費 to guarantee the seat

99% kids auto promoted to K1

It is very rare that a kid is not welcomed to K1.

If your kid behaves like a normal kid, he will have no problem at all. Victoria is a very lenient school and unless the kid is really uncontrollable, they wouldn't kick him out.
