奇怪的比較，Kingston IB 國際學校一條龍每三年要交$8萬學校發展費，維多利亞不是國際學校，升維小競爭大，20-30%機會. 樂基普通本地學校!

維多利亞是私立學校，小學和中學一條龍行IB，超過9成是香港學生，校舍在香港仔深灣；Kingston 是國際學校，但無缐上星期節目話佢超過6成是本地學生，校舍在九龍塘？

有幾間維記幼稚園已是IB school, 可上ibo網站查看

I know these 3 schools belong to different systems. But as parent of a 1.5 year baby, it's really hard to stick to just one system and forget all the others. For example, if the baby get St. Cat offer vs a normal international school offer, I guess most of the parents will choose St. Cat, although some of them might like IS better. So it really depends on what opportunities you can get in different systems.
Back to this topic, is HKPS really a normal LS? I attended its interview, a lot of interviewees but the interview was well planned, and the teachers are nice and with rich experience. I like Kingston's teachers and interview experience as well. Really hard to choose.

True, Vic has several kindergartens passed IB verification.

其實家長真係應該盡早決定小朋友既path，我地從未考慮過LS，bb未出世已經決定比佢讀IS，
就算有神級LS offer都唔會考慮啦，所以只係集中research同考慮想入IS既priority。

樓中所list 3間學校選邊間最重點係樓主prefer d咩，e.g. happy learning/成績好一路上神級名校／
出國留學／whatever etc

有朋友小朋友選hkps（kln tong），一間幾好既普通local k，維記就近年好多人爭，好唔好就見人見志，
kingston 就我既1st priority，所以真係入到playgroup我會鬆一口氣。

看看小朋友的個性、家庭經濟能力.....

Kingston 99%升 Kingston 小學，中學升其 ICHK、HKA、CSS、ESF、Harrow....99%升 IS學校。

全港幾間維幼，維小得一間，維中表現一般，很多學生最後都是讀番本地小學。

樂基沙田分校較屋村化，99%學生最後都是玩大抽獎，小部份會升私小。

You should use a top down approach in choosing kindergarten. If you decide to send you kid to local schools, you should forget about Kingston. The same applies if you decide to send your kid to IS, Kingston is a better choice. If you goto Kingston kg, I don't think you will be accepted by any famous local school, unless you join "lucky draw".

Kingston 無 K3 , 升 IS Year 1 ,俾8萬入 Kingston Year 1 or 入其他IS or 找其他LS K3 or 在家自修K3 再大抽獎. 要家長想清楚自己小朋友的路向！

我估計你自己傾向本地課程多D，因你估多D人會選St Cat 而不選a normal int'l school (雖然我唔知什麼叫normal 什麼叫唔normal)，以前先試本地課程再轉國際容易D，現在國際學校（特別小學）競爭咁大，要轉真不容易。所以無奈地細細個就要簡定。你面試過程愉快當然開心，但面試一兩天，小朋友謮三四年，是否課堂設計，語言環境等更重要?而且面試過程是否well planned同是否LS有什麼關係？今日報導話直資聖保羅中一簡介會話8級鋼琴同小提琴都無分加，因好多小學生都有，聽落一額汗.

其實我想請教大家 HK pre school 有國際班 international stream, 是否可以讀完k2 轉international school 呢？

I don't know Vic other than her long pg waiting list.

Hkps, my colleague's kids were staying in Shatin before and she told the school was good.

Kingston, our boy is currently studying and we are satisfied with the school so far. But I guess the school is catering for IS stream. I am a lazy mother, just don't want to bother and Kingston suits my requirement. Good luck!
