i thought the Primary Principal said it will be out in Jan. and all parents, regardless of invited for 2nd In or not, will receive the notice.

We attended the eng seminar they said result release before Christmas holiday via email. How abt others? What did they say in seminar?

They said the result will be released in 3 weeks, i.e. before Xmas

I thought they said the result would be released before Xmas, then Stage 2 assessment takes place in Jan.

Not sure if things have changed but in previous years, 2nd interview is more an interview of the parents to see if they are a good fit for the school and if they understand what they are getting themselves into.

Heard from a friend (current ISF parent) that there're 400 kids got into 2nd round, but she forgot where the source came from....... not sure if it's an approx. number each year.

I think they now also test the kid further esp in areas he didn't do well in first round.

Parents were asked q while the kid sits aside to do some work. Sequence I remember. Also asked not to interfere with parents. Then kid was asked some q on 處境

That's for FY? or G1? How's your status, musicien? I still remember your son is a small b, apply for P1 this year?

I've been to g1 sec in this yr and fy sec in last yr. format is the same. Content also v similar. But for g1 sec int my son was required to speak in English and read eng words Becoz he was reluctant to speak eng in first Int. We will be going to fy sec in again later if he has no g1 offer.

Forgot to say for fy the kid can speak in Cantonese but for g1 he was required to speak in either eng or Pth. I dunno if it's Becoz he didn't speak well in first int

My daughter got FY 2nd in email notification, however, the exact interview date is not confirmed yet. Do you think it will fall in late January after the announcement of G1 result?
You know what, my girl was born in Oct 08, we didn't know we could apply for both years

, so we just picked FY and seems the chance of admission is higher. What do you think?

Thx! I think they prefer bigger kids Becoz the curriculum is not easy. They offer more seats this year both for fy and g1. But for g1 I think there's only ard 50 seats. Good luck to u too!

Thanks. My friend just finished 2nd interview for G1 (rescheduled time slot), she said her daughter had taken 3 more tests on her Chinese, English and Mathematics while the senior staff speaking to them. Really not that easy!!

Do you remember if FY applicant also needs to be tested during 2nd interview?

Oh my goodness! They tailor made for each kid based on their first in performance I suspect. For fy I remember only some sequencing and picture description in Cantonese. Also asked some q about his school. No testing on chin and eng wor

The 2nd interview I mentioned above was for G1. So, I'm not sure if FY candidate needed to do the same......

But the kid was asked to stay where he was and not to disturb the meeting.
