For a boy going to Year 10 next year, good at Math and Science, from international school. Which one would you choose ?

Both are good schools. Personally, I would go for Tonbridge as their GCE result is relatively better than that of Charterhouse. BTW, your son got the offer from both schools?

no, but we just applied for theSe two schools and he sat the exams of both. Thank you for your comment

Both are good but I would prefer Chaterhouse because 老牌名校!

TONBRIDGE, 因為考alevel

charterhouse , 考pre- u , 同 ib

回香港讀好的學系, 會較麻煩

pre-u 出成績遲, ib 如果讀, 不如香港讀

我2年前, 幫一些小朋友攪升學(GRADE12 )

當時, tonbridge, charterhouse (AA攪)

大概,10人爭2個位, 15爭3

8人local school, 2個國際學校

最後OFFER , 幾乎俾LOCAL SCHOOL 學生掃晒

所以YR 10 是很好的決定

YR 10 , 應該沒有那樣競爭嚴重

兩間都收, 再考慮

Dear HIHinsurance,

Could you elaborate more on the how the choice of A-level and cambridge pre-U affects non-jupas admission to the top Universities in HK?

I have a plan of sending my kids to UK, and your info are in line with the advice I got from other parents, ie A-level over Pre-U, but not in much detail.

Charterhouse 跟年校風轉差，小朋友要識自制
Tonbridge 成績越做越勁，而且student support幾好
利申：兩間都報過＋收左，仔細研究過
