1)Our success or failure ________ on ourselves.(depend)
2)Usually neither of them ________well in the exam.(perform)

阿仔話答案是depend同perform,是無加s的
但答案書是depends同performs,是有加s的
想請問一下,其實使唔使加s呢??

要加。

第一句用 or，當主語係用 or 連接兩個單數名詞，個主語會當係單數。呢句意思係某重真理，所以用 simple present tense。第三身單數現在式，要加 s.

第二句 neither of，當單數用，usually 表明經常發生的事情，用 simple present tense. 同上一句一樣，第三身單數現在式，要加 s.

"Usually neither of them performs well in the exam." is correct and more formal.
"Usually neither of them perform well in the exam." is acceptable.
