VSA已收左阿仔14年讀year1，但我又再同阿仔試其他小學，今日剛收到高主教的offer，仲有其他學校的result未知，例如港同、英華、CKY等，有冇其他家長好以我咁？現在吾知點選好😔

老師話阿仔兩種學校都啱，即係谷的又受得，free的又學到，可否比啲意見我？

VSA 係一間 happy learning 嘅 IB school. 你所講嘅其他學校多數係 local school, 你首先要諗你鍾意邊類學校, 功課量同埋是否 bilingual 應該係其中一個考慮，而且 VSA 有好多外籍老師，大部份 VSA 家長其實都好滿意呢間學校，包括我在內。

多謝回覆，想問你小朋友讀幾年班？

我都係想阿仔開心地學習，亦吾想自己咁大壓力，要成日迫佢做功課，而阿仔本身的英文底好好（無論講同寫），我都擔心佢入左local school後英文會退步。

亦想問下VSA多功課嗎？數學程度是否比LS低啲？

你幾時聽㗎?根本唔夠位，今年九月小一8個小朋友爭丨個位，所有小朋友包括維幼都要面試

小學三年級。
無論家長或小朋友都冇壓力，功課量不多，但有唔少功課係要係電腦上做，冇考試，數學科只用英文嚟教，中文用繁體字。當然，程度絶對係比 local school 淺，上到高班啲應該會好啲。鍾意 local school 嗰一套嘅家長，係唔應該考慮 VSA. 同樣，我從冇考慮 local school, 因為自己經歷過，覺得填鴨式教育害處多過優點，令學生冇空間思考，讀到大學先至知大件事。

其實而家 VSA 都唔容易入，你自己細心考慮吧！若你肯放棄個學位，大把家長會好多謝你！

I have just checked the school bus schedule, if the child gets on at Celestial Heights/Ho Man Tin Estate, the boarding time is around 7:5-10am (unfortunately, it is very early indeed); will get off after school around 4:30pm. School finishes at 3:25pm each day except Wed (1:30pm)

請問按金有無話幾時之前退學可以攞返幾多個%? 仲有想問下VSA一個月學費連雜費大概幾錢? 開學之後仍會週不時要俾錢嗎? 謝謝~

之前VSA講過俾左既deposit, 如果晌8月底前release個位就會退70%, 11月底先退就回50%, 之後既就冇得退~

其實我仲有一年先要報，問定先

想問下K2升K3暑假八月底通常已經會知道某D學校有offer未㗎？十一月底係咪大至上都知道自己有邊D其他offers? VSA呢兩個deadline都幾早，我唔係太熟悉報小學嘅timeline...

其實真係冇邊間學校8月底前出OFFER, 11月底前就有十多間, 所以你預左至少唔見一半~

多謝你的意見，想問你有冇再比小朋友補習英文，例如gramma，因好似話老師不太著重gramma，最緊要小朋友肯寫，咁學校幾時先開始正式教gramma呢？

另外我有一個問題想問好耐，VSA係小數行一條龍的IB學校，即是由幼稚園到中學都係，佢地比起其他學校應該更有經驗，依2年都有狀元出，但係就吾明點解IB的平均分數都係較其他國際學校低（例如加拿大國際）

I would say VSA is a fairly new school. Its secondary school was opened only in Sept 2005, and the IB results has improved over the years. School management has taken many initiatives these few years and expects further improvements . It is not a selective school in the sense that students can go to DP as long as they achieve the min. scores at the end of MYP (should be 34 out of 56 if my memory is correct).

My sense is all the new IB schools focused on Chinese (e.g. VSA, CKY, ISF) are all still too young to tell. But it will be interesting to see which one is going to improve and do better over time whether in IB results, university placements, school competitions, reputation or other factors. Once the dust has settled a bit and one school manages to pull away, then I can see the good students from these few schools all transferring into that one school. But as of now, I can't really think of any big differences between them.

我有請普通話和全科補習老師跟功課和做練習、包括 grammar exercise; 但不需要再出外上其他 class. 學校會零星地教 grammar, 但我覺得我只要買一般嘅 grammar exercise 做補充已足夠。
每間學校都冇可能個個學生係狀元，VSA 歷史不久，但我覺得佢係不斷進步！

學費約九萬蚊一年、另加幾百蚊雜費，午膳、校車費另計。
