The phonics class there is pretty good. My kid joined when she was at K2 (now she is at P.4). If nothing changed, it's a four-section course. As parent, you are required to sit in the first two sections with your kid. Then the last two ones, kid will be required to attend by himself or herself. But one of the teachers there is pretty strict, but not bad because she want your kid to learn but not to waste the time.

The teacher is chinese or NET?

For all levels, 2 sounds per lessons. For level 1,2, you can join join the class with your kid. I found no teachers are chinese. Maybe some are mixed but their pronunciations are excellent. After introducing the sounds, there are some homework. In next class, the teacher and the helper will ask each kid to blend all words in the homework individually. That ensures everyone knows the sounds.
