係好多海外生，包括世界各地，好嘅學校，自然多人想入，包括皇室貴冑，你所講的情況，係難免的。

以我認識的朋友，多以CLC>Badminton, 在校人數， CLC約八百多人，只有小部份day school，宿舍在校附近，badminton約三百多人，宿舍在校內，如果以港生比例，以前情況，係badminton港生較多，當然，兩間都係好好嘅學校。

CLC and Badminton 都有很多來自世界各地的海外生, 兩間都是學術成績很好的學校. CLC 是大校, Badminton 相對細得多, 但一樣提供大量課外活動.

另外, CLC 於sixth form 時提供IB and A Level以供選擇, Badminton 就只提供A Level .

Badminton 的宿生有2/3 是中港學生？是哪一個年級？數字未免誇大了吧！

樓主, 我建議你最直接的方法就是寫email問心儀的學校, 看看她們有多少海外學生數目及中港學生比例等.

我當然明白你指的是宿生比例, 但實際數字不是你所說的2/3是中港學生. 如果你連其他黑髮亞洲人仕也計算在內, 那麼sixth form 就有這機會出現.

我都識人係Badminton及CLC畢業，中四過去CLC讀個朋友嘅女兒在O Level 攞十幾個A*，另一個中六過去Badminton的朋友女兒則在A Level 攞4個A (幾年前A Level是沒有A* grade), 跟著入了Imperial, 兩個都對CLC及Badminton 讚不絕口。

A small girls school of about 330 students with some students being Countess and has horse-riding activity in the school arising from the countess students. You can image that even members of the Royal family are studying St Mary Calne. There are only several Chinese students in each form.

The school offers intensive pastoral care and guidance to students. Students generally have excellent academic performance since students with 9A* IGCSE O level result can hardly been counted as top fifteen students. Last year, 8 students were admitted by Oxford despite there are about 40 students in each form.

My friend’s comments on this school are excellent except that St Mary Calne should swift from the Edexcel exam to a more difficult and challenging Cambridge Pre-Uexam like Charterhouse.

My friend said that AA no longer is the agency for St Mary Calne and you should write to the school direct for admission.

以排名計學生多校舍大女拔師姐多，我會揀CLC, 不過我冇女兒又未到過英國實地參觀過校舍，很難客觀評論那間較好，至於Headington, 我就唔識有人謮。

友人的女兒在香港讀的不是傳統名校，是從香港飛到英國見CLC及SMC校長考Grade 9, 雖然兩閜都收，她對CLC印象麻麻，而且她覺得SMC的文科很強，所以最終揀SMC, 事實她現在亦證明SMC的老師文科教得非常好，令她非常喜歡讀書。

至於Badminton同SMC比，想識過伯爵同學和較少港生，我會揀SMC. 如讀理科，可能Badminton較強，因友人的2個女兒在Badminton都在A Level理科全取A，當年A Level是沒有A* grade.

Is that the reason you not choose "badminton" is they have many chinese & you afraid your daughter unable to learn English & mix with local girls properly only? I haven't do the site visit to this school & just apply due to all the positive comment from the forum.

Luckily, my daughter got an offer from badminton n sixth form recently. Should I go then? AA asked me to confirm within this week......still considering.

The agent said badminton only made 3 offers this year which is comparatively less from the pass. Is that true?

To be honest, if your daughter can get into schools like CLC or Badminton, her English is already good enough. Learning English does not have to be the priority in choosing a school, especially in the 6th form. Don't pass up the opportunity of studying in a good school like Badminton for such trivial concern!

（次）DG?? what does it mean? what the diff bten "英國DG" & 英國（次）DG? Very demanding school? My daughter will join the sixth form next year , so I would like to learn more, thx.
