想請教各位姊妹
龍BB已經讀緊黃埔anfield 同tutor time playgroup, 如無意外應該會有Nursery offer
如果Target入CAIS, EFS, RC, ISF 等primary,請教各位應該讀邊間好d?
自己做左以下research, summerize如下
Anfield
老師個個native英文，好有愛心bb返playgroup好開心，有Anfield小學做後備，touchwood考唔到其他心儀IS都可以直升
每日只有三十分鐘PTH, 中文應該唔夠好
黃埔campus 比較細，冇outdoor playground, 黃埔比較遠，anfield 冇中學讀完就要送去外國？
Tutor time
英普課程我buy, so far BB上堂唱歌好開心，明白老師英普指令，感覺比anfield 更*愉快學習*好free
冇直升小學，touchwood考唔到好頭痛， 愉快學習應該好難再下一年同local爭直資？
Boxhill
其實感覺上同tutor time差唔多，不過有ex RC老師同我講都幾多boxhill同學仔升上去，同埋最近我屋企，所以都報左，想了解多d
同Tt一樣，冇直升小學，不過聽講有K3, 相對多d中文都可以下年試下直資或大抽獎
冇問Kingston/ YCIS因為其實我都有報，不過1歲先報太遲了全部waiting）
其實以上3間畢業既小朋友都易考到心儀既IS嗎？今年龍b v competitive有d擔心，考IS同考直資都越來越難了
我地係中產家庭，屋企廣東話環境，會送小朋友去英國升學，爸爸有一半親戚係果邊，不過我地係係香港出世讀到上大學，bb上了幾個月international playgroup 1歲先決定比bb走IS路〜

Hi hi fanfan, saw u in other anfield discussions ,I rmb u have chosen Kingston right? will you apply other IS primary or stick with Kingston primary? If I choose anfield I will face the same question.

我都同你情況都好似。。。但我係蛇B, 啱啱報緊Anfield, YC, Kingston. Boxhill 超近，又新，都想報，但無小學直上好似唔穩震，RC 真係收好多boxhill? Tutor time 睇落上到好嘅IS 小學機會好似幾大 , 佢地仲會安排學生練interview. 暫時我比較鐘意Anfield, 比較英國。YC 太多大陸人，唔太想。kingston playgroup 已經要俾capital levy, 我有保留。boxbill primary school placement 唔太清楚。TT 貴，但又真咁好似幾好。我係你都會好難選擇。
BTW, Anfield 同TT 你bb 幾大時幫佢報？ Anfield 九龍塘定黃埔？

Do u know which SIS TT graduates will go to?
I like Anfield, which has a primary school for back up, the only concern is the Chinese, seems only less than 30mins PTH everyday.
Kingston has good reputation, bilingual, students there with strong English and PTH. but need to apply early. long long waiting list for now~
I think the tuition fee of TT and Anfield is similar?

i saw it on their website about their placement which are CIS, GSIS, ESF, DGS, ISF and HKIS. are those ur target? i have not studied into details but Anfield should be around 6xk and TT 96k. Honestly boxhill is my least choice unless I can find out more about I will apply Anfield, Kingston, TT, ESF, ICS.
when did u apply for Anfield and TT? But u did apply for Kingston, right?

think TT just posted the primaries placement on its campus notice board, more than 20% to AIS, around 10% to ESF? not quite sure, correct me if I'm wrong

As far as what I saw on the wall that they posted this year, I think most of the TT students go to ESF, CAIS, and CDNIS.

I won't say the tuition fees of TT and Anfield are similar. TT charges HK$7,900 (for AM session) x 12 months, whereas Anfield charges HK$6,800 x 10 months.
Apart from Anfield Whampoa which my boy is currently attending, I cannot give comments on the other schools since I do not know much about them. I am happy with Anfield so far. Anfield provides a genuine English environment to the extent that even the helpers speak English. As such, the exposure to Mandarin is minimal, only 30mins per day indeed. Hence it did catch me by surprise when my boy started singing Mandarin songs (at least 3 songs from what I heard), and can speak bits and pieces of Mandarin after attending school for 2 months. To me personally, English being the first international language is still most important, and for Chinese, as long as he can read and speak and write simple Chinese, I am satisfied. I also like the small class size with 14 students vs 2 teachers plus mandarin teacher on and off during lesson. Of coz I chose Anfield Whampoa also becoz it is close to home, coz I want to avoid unnecessary travelling at this age. To me, school at this age = play play and play, so I won't expect much academically, except a good language environment. I always believe language cannot be taught, you have to be immersed in the environment to pick up a language.

They showed it as a chart so I don't know how many student actually go to CDNIS, but it seems the amount of students going to CDNIS are as much as ESF and CAIS.

I don't know about tutor time.
But if you are choosing between Anfield vs. Boxhill, Anfield is definitely the better choice in my opinion.
My child studied in nursery class in Boxhill for two months in the current school term (not the one in Tsuen Wan) , but we have decided to quit Boxhill due to some important reasons ( I do not want to disclose openly here). My child has been with Anfield for more than 1 month now, and she enjoys every moment at Anfield (Kowloon Tong).

太恐怖了。可憐的小朋友，傷痕近眼，再被這樣虐待下去，好容易連眼睛都有損傷。
對Boxhill 真的很失望。我們（我的女兒和她的同學）因為學校的種種原因，覺得不能再讓孩子再讀下去，所以毅然在學期初（讀了兩個月後）退學。要再找 其他學校N班真的很困難，幸而Anfield 有位，現在兩個小孩子都返學返得很開心。

I am not familiar with the other schools but I think you will need more Chinese to get into ISF nowadays

I don't have a particular recommendation but I think you need close to LS level of Chinese. If you are set on an IS kindergarten, private tutor or two kindergarten is probably your best bet.

Hi parents, my girl is studying at anfield K2. Allow me to remind u that anfield kg students don't go directly into anfield primary. They also need interviews and the primary capacity is v small as well, with only 50 spaces……while there are 2 anfield kgs and the outsiders….
I have to play safe and applied others primary schools as well cos in terms of the number of students anfield primary is taking, our chance is just like 30-40percent…..
Therefore, pls don't think its already safe in anfield kg or u ll need to worry later…...

多謝提醒，之前真的以為anfield幼稚園可直升小學tim。另，anfiled primary原來咁少位，但primary是否也先到先得呢？

個人以為，kingston幼稚園可直升小學，所以就保險D，且中文比anfield強。kingston幼稚園生考外面學校的戰績都不錯，可攻可守

In terms of safety, Kingston is a better choice but is more expensive and a bit material....(don't know if it's true; just heard fr the others) but the kids at Kingston are quite happy indeed

We have no experience with TT.
Anfield, very loving school. We like it very much … … however, Chinese is very limited
Boxhill, to us … … this is a local international school who think it's an international, (if you know what I mean). They had a lot of students go to RC b/c of the old principle, who is not here any more. Due to different new branches, some of the teachers are very new, environment are vary too. Any how they have a very good teaching plan for the students.
Every school have their p&c, depends on what's the best for your child. Each child is different, siblings may not fit into the same school.

Attend their interview (kt) in Oct, there were 3 teachers in a group for open questions by parents. I found that all of them are new comers, 2-5 months. Did u heard that the teachers have fast turnover? Understand your daughter just started school for a month. Appreciate any feedback, thanks.

went to Anfield KT open day yesterday, did not get a chance to ask about primary connection..... this concerns me most. They only have 1 pre-k class with max. 16 students only. why ppls says it is easy to get in?
