請問各位現在小學英文課還保留寫草書 (cursive writing) 的學習嗎？
是否天主教/基督教學校都會保留這傳統，通常幾年班開始？

Yes, still need to do cursive writing. My kid school starts at P.4.

As far as I know, not just 天主教/基督教學校 will do. My kid goes to a non religious school.

Writing Skills for Key Stage 2

• Use the basic conventions of written English
− use cursive script

我覺得學又唔係, 唔學又唔得. 因為唔學, 真係唔識睇人哋寫乜.

Even though the child doesn't know cursive, there will not be any problem of reading cursive when going to higher class.
My child's school only requires students to write cursive during summer holiday as interest.
I think it can be taught in Art lesson and should not be an extra burden for children.

For interest only:
I guessed most of the schools use "Vere Foster civil service" scripts -- UK.
There is probably only one prestigious school in HK that uses zaner bloser (US, Ohio).
It is easy to tell from the way how the capital letter "A" is written.
