我個仔係10月2日N班開學，今日我發現有一個安全

d小朋友去Toilet time嘅時候，上落都有幾級樓梯，初時去洗手間嘅時候，都還可以
但到返課室嘅時候，d小朋友還陌生，已經忘記左要靠牆扶住行，有2個小朋友差點碌落樓梯，好彩今日仲有家長陪同，所以冇意外發生，得2歲人仔，可能有d仲未識上落樓梯，但聽日就要小朋友自己上課，我真的好擔心安全問題
上年亦都有人對學校反映過，可惜未有改進

So what is the situation now? Any feedback from the school or any injured students? My son will start school in Nov and I start worrying the quality of the teachers too. Anyone can share?

I called and they always said the teacher would call 1-2 weeks prior to school start. Then I expect they will be in touch next week.

Hi i've just received call from SJC. The teacher told me 2 PM classes are combined into 1 which has 27 kids in one class. I am quite surprised about this as I supposed SJC class size is small (this is 1 of the reasons I chose SJC). Can "hihisheep" tell me exactly how many PM classes are there and is is true that your son's class has 2x kids? thanks!

Pm class 的確係有兩班，但我接送返學眼見兩班是分開的。Dumbo class現在得9個小朋友
11月開課，家長可陪伴小朋友上課嗎？

首先謝謝你關心，我的兒子暫時都很適應，很喜歡上學，我見dumbo class的小朋友都很快適應，約一星期到已經沒有哭了
1 Nov你返幾多點？你知道1 Nov,4 Nov你和你兒子將會是與Dumbo class 嘅小朋友一起上課抑或新生個別上課嗎？

I will be coming with my son at 12:30, for 1 hour only.
I dont know if we will be joining the Dumbo class together or have lesson separately. The teacher didnt mention this.
BTW, I'm a bit worried that my son cannot adapt to the PM timetable as this is his normal nap time. When is your son's nap time? Does he need to sleep once before going to school? Thanks!!

未返學前午睡時間下午2點左右至下午5點半，宜家下午4點半至晚上7點半8點

早上11：00起身
午睡16：30～19：30/20：00
晚上2315/2345睡覺
每日放學都好攰，每次晚飯時間都要我哋拍醒佢，作息時間全部都推遲了

Today the teacher confirmed
cus start from tmr , dumbo class will have 6 more new kids and our class will have 10 tigger class kids too, 2 classes combines together . later 3 new kids will intake Dec . The total kids will be 27 in the clsss . 3 teachers and 2 aunties in the class.

hi 你好。今日返學都ok 呀，感覺良好，不過要阿仔自己一個正式返先知。另外老師係話有27 個小朋友呀，同上午班一樣，有d surprised 咁多人。今日老師對小朋友的attention 是足夠的，可能家長喺度又得8 個小朋友，遲d 正式返學就知好唔好，K1 使唔使轉校。

今日第一日自己返，喊到豬頭，不過個個都係咁，唔喊先唔正常。校長有出來接同送小朋友，又有安慰家，感覺是很認真的學校。

Hihi KM, i know who you are!
Dont worry, it's just first week of being alone for 3 hours, your son will adapt eventually.
What your son likes? tell Ms Law so that she can use it to comfort your son.
My son cried a little when entering school yesterday. But he didnt cry at all today as my mum heard the teacher counting numbers with him (my son loves counting). I didnt tell the teacher my son likes counting but obviously they also noticed what my son likes. if you worry teachers may not know what your son likes, you may communicate with the teachers directly by calling school at around 12.

Thanks Tiffany, i also called Miss Law last week. Miss Law said he will stop crying when he went to classroom. But he still keep crying when heading to schl. Hope my son will adapt early.
