清楚d我是想明白以下的意思幾時用go

We use 'go' beore 'ing' nouns or noun phrases related to sports.

go hiking

noun phrase你可以當係一句短句,呢句短句係名詞
好似中文"那個穿紅色裙的小女孩"咁

We use 'go' beore 'ing' nouns or noun phrases related to sports.
如果個ing尾的名詞同運動有關就用動詞go
例如:go hiking, go swimming, go skiing

Noun phrase example:

Today I will go wherever you want to go.

但你個 rule 怪怪地。 use "go" before "ing" nouns or noun phrases.   We can use different things before "ing" nouns or noun phrases.

Eg

I want to stop swimming next month.
I wanted to stop whatever he was doing in class.
I hate whatever he have in his mind.

Noun phrase example:

Today I will go wherever you want to go.
We use 'go' before .....我是抄自小朋友的課本,我本身英文底子不好,尤其諗唔明noun phrase那個意思

你地說完都唔多明.....

回復 shadeslayer 的帖子

Yes, there are also some more, like after the word 'enjoy', we use 'ing' form.  The word after prefer, we also use 'ing'form.  The word after 'prefer', it's not compulsory to use 'ing' form though

Aniam 解釋得好清楚, shades layer 嗰個 wherever you want to go 唔係noun phrase, 我估呢課係教go hiking, go swimming 等, 所以有嗰句說明

即係 go hiking 或者 go (hiking in the woods), go swimming 或者 go (swimming in the beach).

何以見得 "wherever you want to go" in I will go "wherever you want to go" cannot function as a noun?

應是noun clause.

I am not sure about your examples coz I think maybe the structure of your example  is (go hiking) (in the woods).
For examples of noun phrases other than single word hiking, swimming, I would think of something like scuba diving, mountain climbing
