應該冇，今年開始要完成中七。你上網查吓！兩大醫學院是一致的。

vii. High school students in their first year of the two-year GCE A-level or IB

[size=12.000000pt]The University entrance requirements state that candidates who have only completed GCE [size=12.000000pt]AS or the first year of the IB Diploma “may be considered for [size=12.000000pt]admission under special circumstances on individual merits case-by-[size=12.000000pt]case.”[size=12.000000pt]However the Faculty does not expect to accept these students because they will be competing directly with other non-JUPAS students who have completed the GCE-A levels exams and IB Diploma, as well as all other non-JUPAS students with higher University entrance qualifications.

[size=12.000000pt]There used to be an Early Admission Scheme (EAS) administered by the JUPAS office for local students who could be admitted on the basis of excellent HKCEE results (although students still had to finish Form 6). The University operated a similar Direct admission scheme that was opened to students with excellent GCSE results (who also had to finish Form 6, whether this was half way through the GCE A-levels or halfway through the IB Diploma). These schemes were discontinued for 2012 admissions.

除咗香港外，有冇人知英國喺咪都有這條路優先入U. 我想譚詠麟在英國都唔算乜嘢名人，要佢個仔成績出眾先成事嘅！

As far as I know, Cambridge would not admit students simply on the strength of brilliant result of GCSE examination. It may give a very low offer on the result of AL (i.e. 3 C) but you have to comply with the entrance requirement.

I think at the most, Alan Tam's son was given an offer for admission but he had to cash in the offer by the AL result (or other results to meet the entrance requirement).

聽聞今年中大medic收咗三個中六生，兩個GSIS, 一個英國回流。至於HKU就IN咗好多人，不過就一個都冇收。

我識一個GSlS學生11A*，中大及港大醫學院都要他今年完成AL，明年先入學！

He finished AS level in year 12 and then got the offer. ( a young man in his 16 only)

譚校長個仔係因為用AS+igcse成績而入學。Cambridge 睇重AS成績，一般都要90幾分再加面試成功才出offer，到讀埋A2達到要求才可正式入學。大學唔會單看igcse就收生。而HKU Medi去年都有比offer收AL 學生，只可恉失手今年入唔到。

中大的抜尖offer，今年收的成績除了看之前的igcse外，AS level最高三科超過98。

照睇，讀A level 比IB 多一點優勢，快人一年入U。不過當然要成績優異至得，可能考IGCSE 真係越多科越好,

係要好勤力同有方法先得。聽聞有些是分幾次考才凑够十幾粒星。如果一次过有咁成績都唔簡單。
