自行階段不限制校網, 可以考慮非41網的學校.

Maybe majority is the well off people but I do have a friend who is just ordinary people, no back ground but with a very smart son sucessfully "knock the door" in. So, never give up! Go for it. Long long way to go and fight!

We are in 41 net but my boy is average and has no back up.
Wonder if there are any advantage by filling in 111 for la salle in all 自行, 甲一 and 乙一, OR fill up another net school for 自行 and 甲一 and only leaving 乙一 for la salle so that we can knock door for both la salle and the other net school.

I have not studied net 41 for detail frankly as my son had a private school back up and filled only DPS 1-1-1. We had not applied LS for him for religion reason.
Anyway, if you consider your boy is just an avaerage student, you may need to consider if LS is your choice. I have a friend with his son with LS. His son was the top students at the first few years but his ranking was lowered and lowered every year coz they intake so many brilliant students every year. Competition is great for sure. You have to maintain your son being the top 60% (I can't remember the exact percentage), or the kid may not be enrolled in their secondary school.
I heard that there are a ot of choices, e.g. the Kowloon Tong Government School. Try to search the old threads.

I also heard about la salle keep accepting outstanding students from other school. Seems not so much from other competitive schools eg st joe.

聖家 15 OK - my friend got admitted 3 years ago.
most parents will choose MCS and DPS.
