On paper 2013/14 tuition fees for P1-6 is HK$70,000 yet a monthly limit of HK$11,000 is recommended by ESF. Does it mean apart from monthly tuition fee, there are other regular expenses? Could ESF parents share any info on the average monthly school fee? Thanks!

No, there are no other regular expenses, the higher limit is just a recommendation, you can set a lower limit if you like. Fees will probably increase each year, so if you set a higher limit it will save you the hassle of increasing the limit every year.

You can expect an increase of at least 5% every year... so if for 6 years, monthly fee will increase from $70K to $100K+...that's why the limit is recommended to be $11K monthly.
