聽聞聖心幼稚園學生如果同時報考聖心小學AM (私校) 及於自行派位時選擇聖心小學PM ，則AM(私校) 會自動取消該幼稚園學生AM (私校) 的申請，請問聖心幼稚園學生的家長可否告知是否屬實?如果屬實，是否今年才開始的新政策？

It's always trouble to deal with these hearsay situation.

The actual details of this new policy started last year was: "if a SHCK student applies to BOTH sections through different means, IF THE STUDENT HAS BEEN ACCEPTED BY PM SECTION through discretionary places stage (end of November), then the STUDENT WILL AUTOMATICALLY NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR PRIVATE SECTION."

So, all of them are allowed to apply to any schools, the purpose of the policy is just to have more efficient use of the private section seats and not to have students registering to both schools which eventually one will be release, while there are others waiting

Everyone has the right to apply any schools in central allocation. No ones can prevent you from doing so.
