仔仔讀完一年CAIS, 我都感受到佢的改變。

呢間學校好著重"上堂秩序"同"聖經教育", 小朋友好快會被感染.
我個仔仔而家好鐘意"幫人", 又幫我拎野, 又幫我推門, 又幫我睇住個妹妹,
學校的功課一定會自己做, 也都好鐘意睇英文書, 好多"深"字, 佢都明.
佢成日同我講最鐘意就係CAIS, 老師同學個個都鐘意...

見到個仔仔開心樂觀, 品行OK, 基本學習無問題, 做父母覺得已經足夠!

請問 grade 1 的中文程度如何？每星期有幾多中文堂，幾多分鐘，有功課嗎？是否用普通話教中文，寫繁體字？

Sor far, my son starts about 2 weeks in grade 1 and he has to write pin yin everyday at school.  You can choose traditional or simplified chinese before promto to grade 1.  And also there is maths homework everyday, Pretty good!

另外有一點唔太明白，我今年想為朋友申請入讀k3, CAIS講明要最近兩年成績表，包括現時的，但我小朋友才剛升k2, 今年才剛開學，k2都未有成績表，手上只有PN 和K1成績表，有無家長知道應該係點做呢？

其實在加國的學制對公平和人人平等十分著重的。如果要讀醫科要完成first degree ，跟著interview 才可修讀。
如果你對加拿大的認識多些，便會發現更多優點。他們的學制也是兼容性很高的

This is because of the lack of oral English ability which in turn is due to lack of opportunity to use English in daily life in hk and has nothing to do with whether the kids study in 名校

I agreed no need tohigh-sounding!
It already gained satisfactorycomments by outsider and existing parents.

Just thinking the main point isit a cup of your tea.
You have toconsider what you want for your child.
You have to study the school mission…
Academic is essential; however moral character is also important and whichis benefit for wholelife.
CAIS trained pretty well on both.
My child got accepted by 2 famous local schoolswhile he was in preparatory.
I did struggleto let my child to switch back to local stream, end up I did not, and I stayCAIS.
Because I have questioned for myselfon some reasons --- am I have financial problems, is route learning is fit for mychild and family, and also just imagine 40-45 people in a class would that ableto develop well ?
We look for wider vision,whole-child education, and well-behavior and good interpersonal network.

自己都係過來人, 除非冇要求, 仔女入到好學校, 家長興奮心情真係好過中六合彩.  但個人感覺國際學校係小學階段都係以鼓勵小朋友建立良好學習動機為目的, 以便日後中學時真正面對求分數時不會容易有挫敗感. 所以頭果幾年都係蜜月期, 不以成績為重, 大家當然十分開心.
