標題: PET要考到甚麽成績才對升中有幫助？ [打印本頁]

如题，是否一定要考到distinction才有用.但要90分以上才有distinction，相信要4部份都拿到exceptional才可，對小兒來說難度很高.

囝囝口試考得最差(主要係他個人性格問題)，相信呢部唔係一時三刻可以有大提升.

你兒子是升小五或是小六，如考到此成績都很好，我聽說如考ket要有”丁”，考pet就起碼要有”merit”，這樣對升中才有幫助，而且，也增加小朋友將來應考更高程度英文試的信心。另外，請問你兒子有否在外學pet，還是自修的?

我平時都有比past paper囝囝做，見成績可以就叫他試考.其實他今個暑假才升pet班，所以我都應為只要小朋友有能力，不一定要報cambridge班.我替囝囝報course是因為想他有多些機會練oral.

Try PET for School next time. I am sure he can get Dist. rather try FCE. I know of a case exactly like your son. Got PET 89, and then only get 77 in FCE one year later. Of course FCE 77 is a higher standard than PET 89, but a dist. cert. is more "beautiful".

我仔上年十月也考了PET, 分數都糸89，差一分就distinction，但沒有再考過，宜家已經讀了八個月FCE，但未知何時可以考試。Coming 九月升5年班，希望小學畢業前考埋FCE

上次聽CAMBRIDGE 講座, 如KET 考到 PASS W/ DIST. 就可以唔駛考PET 直接考FCE. 因為KET 考到PASS W/ DIST.= PET 的 PASS.

Having a glance on the fce past paper, it is a big jump from ket/pet in all parts. As some members said, besides the language requirements, primary students may also find difficult to understand the content which involves many topics not being supposed to come across at their ages. So, i may not let my son try fce.
