我估Anfield開K3的其中一個原因是為升讀美丶加制國際學校的小朋友而設，因為美式IS Grade 1是6歲而英式Year 1是5歲, 所以有多一年K3，如果有IS收左Year 1, 他們讀完K2便會走。但Anfield始終是一所國際學校，因此中文的比重不多，若將來讀本地小學，以中文教授的科目會追得辛苦 (除非有在課餘時間補習中文)，教學模式亦要重新適應。

To be exact, it is HK$6,800/month x 10 months.
My boy just started the Nursery class at Anfield Whampoa. It is over my expectations. We are planning for the IS route, so we have no concerns on the limited exposure to Mandarin. I wanted a genuine English environment for my boy, and Anfield fits in perfectly, even the helpers in school speak English. I also buy the small class size, which is only 14 students per class with 2 English teachers and 1 Mandarin teacher who teaches 30 mins per day and she is around in class on and off in the remaining time. I attended their playgroup before and I thought it was only average, so maybe that's why I did not have high expectations of the Nursery class, which turns out to be a surprise for me. I must say it is very much down to the teacher you meet. So far I am very happy with the teachers in our class. Maybe it is still too early to jump to conclusion but so far I am very satisfied and glad with my choice, and hopefully this opinion will remain throughout and my boy can continue with K1.

Need to pay a one off debenture of HK$13,600 (equivalent to 2 months' school fees), which is refundable upon withdrawal from school, but on the condition of withdrawal notification 2 months in advance.

i know admission is on first come first serve basis. i have applied nursery for my daughter when she was nine months, from your experience, do u think she has high chance to be admitted?

Anfield Whampoa nursery is good and the teaching content is quite well structure and organized. Teachers have good care on students and it is totally different from their playgroup as everyone comments as " hea", my daughter just started the nursery and is very keen to go school every day

I think the debenture is the same arrangement as Nursery, ie. 2 months' school fees and refundable upon withdrawal. Please correct me if I am wrong.

We applied when my boy was15 months old, and we got a spot with Anfield Whampoa. It is not difficult. From my observation, most local parents will not go for Anfield especially if they are planning to send their kids back to LS, so it is not as competitive as some popular local kindergartens. However no one can guarantee anything for sure. This is just my experience for your reference.

Yes, I couldn't agree more. Honestly I was rather disappointed with the playgroup classes we attended for one season, but was otherwise satisfied with the Nursery classes. I don't know about other kindergartens, so I cannot compare. At least I am very happy with my choice so far. My boy also cannot wait to go to school everyday, and this is something out of my expectations. His personality is quite reserved and does not like people easily, but he was smiling so happily when he spot his form teacher at school during assembly this morning. Caring is something one cannot pretend, as it comes right from your heart and the kids can easily feel it.
