佢打黎講話有EBD會check, 為免影響學生上堂，所以suspend, 搞到我一頭霧水……仲之好有問題，如正常點解怕EBD check

I think they want to speed up the EDB license issuance (staff said EDB already gave no objection letter). Last step of the process is EDB inspection, and when EDB comes inspect (which can be any time), the whole premise needs to be cleared. Maybe that's why they suspend all activities.

They didn't cancel the classes but requested us to change to another location for the remaining classes.

They suddenly cancelled ALL remaining July and August playgroups, claiming the Education Bureau would come and check the premise in the said period. (My friend said Fire Services would come and check too.) The playgroups will move to a nearly commercial centre in mid September, to give room to its kindergarten, which has yet to receive proper approval from Education Bureau.

Suggest kindergarten parents should keep checking with the Education Bureau about the progress. There's NO guarantee that the Bureau must approve the license by Sep.

But at last I decided to quit to join othet pg and they said will arrange refund.

I just wonder they have k1 starts at coming Sep, if there is really delay in obtainung the license, this will really be worried by the parents

U mean u gave up another kindergarten for PODS? U can call the Education Bureau and check if it really obtain the govt license before the semester begins.

I don't know if we are talking about the same program. They didn't cancel the summer enrichment program, change location only.

They are suspending their playgroups until mid sept and will resume in new site which is a much bigger space with dedicated gym and sensory rooms so I don't mind at all.

May I know have they resume the playgroup yet? Is your son still in the playgroup or in the PN or K of Pods now?
