請問有無小朋友是喜歓騎馬或者騎緊架？　可否分享下経験、如在辺個CENTRE,学左幾耐等等。　謝謝。

yes, my girl love that, in Lobster Bay (clearwater bay), very good centre, learn for 2 yrs already

龍蝦湾、這SUMMER有去、非常ENJOY。　
LO　WU、下星期会去、好耐以前去過、都応該OK。
問題是２間都好FULL、我女女９月想定期学（ONCE　A　WEEK)、但都没有位。
請問以上幾位、是否都是ONCE　A　WEEK,OR MORE THAN　THAT.　如是是否WEEKDAY？　成日都BOOK到？
STEAMBALL、学左２年、其実是MAAK程度？　女女好喜歓HORSES,我希望女女学到可自己独立騎馬、将来可自行参加英国Or Australia的TREKKING　HOLIDAYS.　不知要焼幾多銭、先可如願(^-^).
Bravomom, ９個月的成績如何（＾－＾）？　毎個人都５同、but in general, how long do you think it will take one to master the basic skills?
Also where do you guys buy the riding gear? I got my daughter two pairs of riding trousers on the internet and they are very good. Short boots also got them from internet. Quality is ok but not as good as trousers. I know there is one in TST. Havent been but I guess it must be expensive there. As children grow so fast, I dont want to spend too much on their gears. Paying for the riding fees are already killing me!!

my girl once per week, each long holiday we will stop

lazy, now she is in 'orange', she can manage to ride on her own, i mean even canter, not only walking, Ride horse in UK or Ireland is much cheaper than in HK, as i know, and UK/ Ireland/ Aus have lots of summer camp

My daughter is riding in Lo Wu Saddle Club every weekend. We waited for 1 month before they offered us a place. My daughter spent 6-7 months in the lead rein class. She can now ride or trot on her own. I met some expat kids who could learn at a faster pace even at the age of 4-5 , so it depends individually.
We bought the gears from taobao as it's cheaper. The French brand Fouganza is of reasonable quality and price. One of the shop that you may consider is http://decathlon.tmall.com

Thanks Bravomom, I also bought the gear from Taobao. Well my daughter has got over the lead rein stage and I will only enrol her in private lessons and hopefully she will pick up the skill faster. By the way, when doing (before or after) the riding lesson, does your daughter have the chance to go to see the ponies and get around the stable? In Clear Water Bay, staff there are quite relaxed and saw kids (including my daughter) visiting the ponies on their own. Of couse, the ponies are properly put away in their stable and kids are just watching and not touching them.

The staffs there are very nice and helpful. We used to bring some carrots and feed the ponies or horses before or after the lessons. Even the dogs there are very friendly.

Thanks, thats good to hear, coz my daughter just loves horses. Not just riding them, but touching and treating them like pets. Some horses bite or may be just nibble, dont they?

Oh she did. She has been a pony lover when she was small and now she is even more crazy about them, and thats why I am looking for horse riding opportunities in Hong Kong.

BRAVOMOM,有亜、我入左名WAITING　LIST、聴説要等２年！！　有時会有D無離頭時間可SIP位、就不用等。 Anyway, Tun Mun definitely is a good place to go for proper training.

我小朋友去上水騎之前都上個一堂屯門私人班，那裡的設施很好，但要每次打電話約。排了waiting list, 好像排千幾，聽聞要等兩三年。不過，之前好像曾聽過小朋友如果可以自己騎的，assessment合格可以插班，不用等這麼久的。不過我的女兒就比較喜歡LWSC, 一班小朋友開心啲

Just go to Tun Mun Riding School website. Down load the form for pony riding class. Fax it to them and you will get a reference no. You can then use this ref. no. to check your position in the waiting list. If you want to book private lessons (1 to 1), then you have to call them every time to see if there is a place for you. You can only book maximum 7 days in in advance.

今年馬年，最近發現多了很多人騎馬，尤其是孩子。我們的騎術會都加班了，一星期開足七天。
暑假YMCA Day Camp去過國際，地方都算大，還可餵山羊，但夏天去時比較多蚊。有朋友在那兒買套票騎過，他也頗滿意

還有，最近發現如果要買一些優質保護裝備，如認證Beta Level 3 安全背心，在英國的網站買（可扣稅）連運費也比到尖沙咀$2000-3000（有認證）的平一半。這類產品在淘寶選擇較少及一般售1200+人民幣。靴，馬褲淘寶就最平。

我不知國際不是BHS approved 的，但如果純粹興趣，不打算考試也不要緊。我始終是LWSC的擁護者，他們近幾個月來了兩位英國BHS instructors，教得很生動有趣，孩子上得很開心。英國那間叫Robinsons equestrian, 可扣VAT，那次一件body protector 運費£18,可上網站看看

Well I am also a fan of LWSC but could stand a chance to get into their regular classes (even if I become a member) so that's why I am going to IRC instead. Tks for the website info. Wl hv a look.
