公開試成績

本校同學於第二屆「香港中學文憑試」成績優異，令人振奮。整體合格率為 98.4%，優良率(4等或以上)則為 55.5%。本校共有19科文憑試科目，當中12科有50%或以上同學獲4等或以上成績，7科有70%或以上同學獲4等或以上成績。超過五成同學在中、英、數、通識四科核心科目平均取得4等或以上成績。

    and six more students obtaining  three 5** in HKDSE Examination 2013

100% of our students (181 in total) had at least five subjects attained at level 2 or above in this examination. About 97% of them are qualified for admission to JUPAS degree courses while the percentage of obtaining level 5 or above (5, 5* or 5**) in all subjects is 46.  The total number of level 5 or above is 588, that is more than three level 5 or above per student.

Congratulations to the Form 6 on their achievements in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE). SUM Hiu Fung (6G) achieved the maximum score of 49 or 7 x 5**, one of 4 boys in Hong Kong to do so. The College also had a significant increase in the number of boys awarded 5, 5* or 5**.  Pleasing to note also was the improvement in achievement in Chinese Language which the College sought with only a small number of boys not attaining the necessary level 3.

睇黎入大學嘅指標要有五科４級，即港大嘅20分，係最低要求，所以學校應該公佈五科4級嘅百分率，而唔係33222無意思，根本係假像。

咁又未必! 對家長來說, 5科4級的成績固然重要, 但大學入U最低成績(33222)也很重要, 除了極少數超級名校5科4級好多人, 其他一般名校睇33222的比率都好有用, 更易做比較啦! 仲有BAND 2呢, 33222可能唔高, 但唔高之中也有比較性...睇BAND 3校就可能22222更有用! 超碼達到等同會考5科合格喎, 呢個數據對成績不太好的學生家長來說, 更加重要!

入U 的基本 要求是:
中: 3
英: 3
數: 2
通識: 2
再加1科成績最好的主修科 (有些大學計2 科)

去年 成功入大學最低是18分/19分 (5科)

就算你考到好高分, 但係未能達到 33222 也跟大學無緣, 去年就有很多學生 死在中文科, 很多考到 5 或以上, 但中文只有 2 , 便唯有委屈地讀 ASSO / HD , 又或者要到外國讀大學

22222 是入讀 ASSO / HD (自資) 的基本要求, 所以也是另外一種成績的指標

所以我覺得不同數據各有作用, 五科4級固然係睇到間學校有幾多學生能真正達到入U的基本要求, 但就算係BAND 1, 五科4級的數字都未必好靚, 反之33222可以反映到大部份學校的實力(包括BAND 1及BAND 2), 至於22222, 就睇到BAND 2及BAND 3校的表現呢!
