只上過黃埔校的toddlerobics. 整體導師/staff很nice, 有耐性。流程是先在indoor playground warm up自由活動10mins左右。之後除鞋move in 活動室，唱下歌仔跟指令做動作，有時會教d親子運動，或開一些道具如隧道/滑梯/平衡木等，試過兩次是在走廊推櫈仔，亦會吹d bubbles 俾佢地追下咁。

好似7-8個kids...
其實我同小朋友都中意去個到，不過想學人抖下summer放暑假做下d唔同既野所以冇join.而且個邊對我地來講操作上先知太遠太rush，考慮緊9月轉Kln Tong campus.

看你playgroup追求d咩，亦有同班家長提過覺得toddlerobics "學唔到野"，我估佢意思係話做d野太普通自己都教到?

Thanks for your updates! I just talked to my friend yesterday and she said the teacher was really “hea” ~ not really like the course much ~ she may think about to try Hunghum campus for the next course ....

But our class has one kid studying at both campus. The monther told Whampoa's one was more hea. I haven't had the chance to verify nor the teacher's name.

My boy is now attending the Whampoa one. I think being hea or not depends on your expectation. They are offering toddlerobic not play group, so just playing, singing and dancing are fine for me. The teacher mr Joms are very nice and I can tell he loves the kids :)

The only thing I don't like is the campus as it is not big and most of the toys are pretty "run-out". The reception area is not big too compare to the play group I m attending. Hence we can just wait outside doing nothing before the class starts, whole the other school my boy is attending has a big play area with they can play as soon as they arrived school.

My friend told me her teacher is called Meena for Toddlerobics ~ Guess their Playgroup course is much better ~ Do you know/have any comments on its Playgroup?

because of her bilingual curriculum - PHT + English. To be honest I don't know the school when I did my application, just that they were only the few schools whom received the application when my boy was only few months. I did a search from the net and from EK, comments are very positive towards the school. Happened to know some friends' kids are/were also studying there, telling the school was fine.
I did struggle between Anfield, YC and Kingston some time ago, having considered various factors, I then opted for Kingston.

My little girl is having toddlerobics in Anfield now too, feels that the teacher is "hea" too.... Fanfanbb is so smart to enroll playgroup in Kingston so early.

I think the toddlerobic teacher is not the real teacher there. What I mean is they might be just part time teaching the playgroup or toddlerobic.

We have no idea about but the Sat Summer Camp is really mamadei, my hubby said the teacher had not much "heart".

But comments towards the School is in general good. Both Whampoa and KLN Tong

My boy just started the Nursery class at Anfield Whampoa. It is over my expectations. We are planning for the IS route, so we have no concerns on the limited exposure to Mandarin. I wanted a genuine English environment for my boy, and Anfield fits in perfectly, even the helpers in school speak English. I also buy the small class size, which is only 14 students per class with 2 English teachers and 1 Mandarin teacher who teaches 30 mins per day and she is around in class on and off in the remaining time. I attended their playgroup before and I thought it was only average, so maybe that's why I did not have high expectations of the Nursery class, which turns out to be a surprise for me. I must say it is very much down to the teacher you meet. Apparently I understand that one playgroup teacher is good and we did not get to attend her class before. So far I am very happy with the teachers in our Nursery class. Maybe it is still too early to jump to conclusion at this beginning stage but so far I am very satisfied and glad with my choice, and hopefully this opinion will remain throughout and my boy can continue with K1.

Same thought as you. My class size is even smaller. 2 class teachers and 1 mandarin teacher to only 6 kids!! The teachers are kind and care. My girl can tell what she did at school or learn.

You mean 6 kids after combining 2 sessions? So good!
We have 5 kids in our session and not sure about the 2nd session, and we are combining into one class tomorrow
I think we got same teachers. I can feel that they have the heart and are caring. In fact I prefer them over the teachers at the next door class.
My boy still cannot tell me precisely, but I can tell he loves school and he cannot wait to bye bye me, haaa!

I think my boy is in the class next door you mentioned. His class should have 20 students when combine together. Among the three teachers in his class, I found one of them was really caring and experienced. The other two were just ok. I wish my boy could be in your son's class.

Ya, should be the same teachers. My boy likes the teachers too. He does not like people easily but he was smiling so happily when he saw one of them this morning during assembly. And I was also surprised with the effect of mandarin lessons on him after only 2 weeks. He started saying "太陽公公有沒有來？沒有來，沒有來“, and he really likes to recite the 沒有來，沒有來, haaa!

Honestly the playgroup classes we attended were average. The lesson structure was alright and similar to Nursery but teacher was average. I understand from some of the mummies that the teacher in the other class is better and I strongly believe so, coz we met her at the indoor playgroup, and she played with my boy even though we were not from her class. Too bad we never get to attend her class, coz we only joined for one season and we joined for the priority reason. I am more interested in Nursery than playgroup.

Yes, they can pick up really fast! It's really amazing to experience it myself. We have zero exposure of mandarin at home too.

I never asked, but I guess there are 4 classes for Nursery, ie. 2 AM + 2 PM. Not sure about K1.

Hello hello! My kid is in toddlerobics now and I'm okay with the class..as the other parents mentioned, first 10mins are free time then move into a room. Thats around 5 songs that each class sings. Sometimes the kids got treated like playing parachute, bubble popping at the end.. 45mins to me is alright for a 14mths toddler really. it might sound so little (in regard of songs or class duration) to parents, its actually a lot to kids. my son learns to stomp his feet and know where his ears right after the first class, im surprised enough. In my opinion, kids at this stage are all about repeating (just like building blocks and potty training) so if repeating means hea, I could not agree. it really depends on what parents expect I reckon. but i have to say Teacher joms from whampoa campus is quite nice and you can tell he loves kids! But I would consider letting my kid to playgroup next term since he reaches the age, I will definitely seek advice from the playgroup teacher to see if she thinks my sons is ready.

I let my kid join when he is about to turn 14mths..some of his classmates are 1 or 2 mths younger (crawlers)…

My boy is attending Nursery class at Whampoa campus. I have heard very positive feedbacks from few parents (whose kid attended playgroup before) about Teacher Nicky who is the playgroup teacher at Whampoa campus.

I have spoken to teacher nicky and she introduced me her class structure-what they do and how things go during class. My only concern is just that im moving to fotan next year around cny but i really love this school..what to do?!

Honestly I dont really see the need to travel so far for a playgroup. Unless you are planning to move forward with their nursery and kindergarten classes, you might need to think about it. Just my 2 cents worth advise.

Yes I also think the class is much below expectations. Things taught can all be done at home and there are not much interaction between parents nor the babies.... Was a bit disappointed...

Now things have changed..the home renovation wont b happening until xmas so i will move no earlier than spring term finished. Im defos applying playgroup now :)

Toddlerobics are for toddlers 1yrs old 45mins, it's for playing & dancing. Also, it's a good way to introduce school to young toddler.
Play groups are 2hrs, where children will learn the routine. There are snack time, mandarin, circle time, outside play, music & stories time. They will learn how to take turns & play with each other.
Pre-program will start separation training to get ready for K1/first step.

It's very depends on what you are looking for in your child's school life. They don't teach a-z, pentagon, hexagon, octagon. But they let every individual to learn in their own pause. Most important is my child never get sick when she is in Anfield.
