成人見d人問都係關於學術上分別，其實我好想知師資有不同嗎？之前識D好叻好乖york學生又剛岩全部係主流班，係因為主流係local班主任，而國際班係net所以free d？？有家長可分享下嗎？t h x

There is no big different between them. The main teacher is cantonese speaker. My daughter can speak good cantonese after one year of so-called International Stream. I just found only the time of mandarin is different.

DiamondHill, can you clarify a bit? What's the time of madarin taught for local and internaional stream, respectively? Also, would local stream teach more and have more homework?

I heard that both local and international streams teach English (all English teachers are native, no matter local or international), Cantonese and Mandarin. But international stream will have a native English 班主任so the kids may have more opportunity to interact in English.

A lady of York International told me on the phone that Mandarin will be taught 4 days a week while Cantonese is taught everyday.

先問自己一般國際班的定義是什麼。如果班上有本地老師，不要期望你是讀緊國際班，我認為國際班應該只有English speaker and PTH teacher. 若果你認同國際班如你所列的，也可接受，便可以了。

我理解York國際班，唔係好似其他學校的英普班，而係英粵班但有NET做班主任，同一位本地老師班主任。每日有25分鐘普通話堂。

主流班最大分別係冇NET班主任同一星期只有兩堂普通話。雖然冇NET做班主任，但英文堂都係NET教。

課程內容國際班同主流班係一樣。

囝囝今年8月PN班，以上資料係睇家長分享。

你好了解這裡的國際班，但有一點要注意，不要以為入讀國際班，就期望小朋友可講出流利的外語，除非本身已在家裡有語景提供。

國際班都有本地班主任，學生乖唔乖，係個別小朋友的問題。
我阿仔都讀國際班，班中都有乖/唔乖的同學仔！
