Just want to share how my girl worked towards the starters exams n attained the good results of 15 shields.
She attended weekly starters class for 7 months, completed the spelling list n supported by a lot of reading at home.
And I think this is a good training as the kid has to attend the test alone for 45 minutes.

mine is 4.5yr, and i am getting ready to prepare for the exam. my i know which training center(s) is good?

路過：其實我自己教，加跟住syllabus , 狂做past paper , 半年都有昵個成績，建議冇謂浪費金錢，去商務買past paper , 不難發現串來串去都係個D字！

其實係centre 上係迫我自己有個timetable 去跟進度，亦令小朋友有個pattern同routine去pick up ，而我自己其實要用不少時間同佢拆字，串字,玩下guessing game etc.

但我睇啲past paper, 唔易喎！

我都係自己教,做吓卷,串吓廿零個字去考.....都係15盾。曾經去補習中心參考過,但略嫌進度好慢,趕不切攞cert考小一,結果自己教......但我發覺對小一幫助不大,四月考埋flyer........13shields,但無助扣門。但過程中能提升阿女做卷能力,可能對小學學習有正面影響

因為我扣咗幾間無消息啦......不過,係準備考試過程中,小朋的自信及閱卷能力真的提升了不少

英國文化拹會網站有一兩份past paper下載,另係書店或淘寶有得買

有時間梗係串晒啦...........嗰時我無時間,同埋小朋又唔會咁合作同你温生字.....所以我group晒幾套past paper最common嗰廿零字去考.......考mover同flyer我都係用此方法.......名施各法啦 ......如果我勤力啲同阿女串晒啲字,可能唔止13盾呢

邊係叻,係好彩.....我有個朋友個女都係無串晒考starter都有15盾。past paper係英國文化協會有兩三份,其他可係香港書店買,但好貴,我淘寶買.....但係錄音帶.....香港買嗰啲係CD,但係鴨寮街有錄音機連內置speaker.....80蚊左右,買一部考晒整個YLE就好抵啦
