what's your standard of happy school ?

1) Less work = Happy School
2) Child like to go school = Happy School

If your standard is #1, then LH is not Happy School

我小朋友返PN不知幾HAPPY，放假都想返去玩。
PN無功課，K1無字寫，好正路的學校。
教學以主題形式分組教，從玩之中學習，PN都已學識了醫生，警察，飛機，很深的字，但小朋友唱吓歌，扮吓醫生，回家又真係識讀比我聽。

agree…超深!開放日時參觀，學校展示他們的書本，我完全不相信係幼兒班嘅課本，再睇其他K1,K2,K3，真係似小學教科書，雖然小兒有幸考上K1，但我明白呢度唔係我兒子杯茶，不過每位小朋友有不同的特質，我亦相信有其他小朋友適合，我亦有搜集其他家長的分享，都有人話係開心嘅學校。如選擇學校，一定不是名氣，一定係適合你的子女

我地讀咗就嚟三年,只可話,小朋友係超級happy ! 唔返學係對我個小朋友的一種懲罰,由PN至今都係咁.

happy school絕對唔代表少嘢學,小朋友係born learner,教得其法,人人都可以好開心咁返學.正如我個小朋友.老師教得活潑,比晒信心比小朋友,而唔係呆呆板板既上堂.咁你會發現小朋友原來係玩的情況下,不知不覺學到許多.

至於深唔深,我覺得PN淺,K1都算淺,K2開始係多咗好多嘢做.聽聞K3會教得仲多.個人覺得K2開始都算深,例如講動物會講到herbivores/carnivores/omnivores的分類.小朋友返到屋企同我講呢啲我的確幾驚訝.她有個同學仔返到屋企見媽媽食飯時只係食肉,仲問媽媽係唔係carnivores... 那位同學媽媽同我講番,笑死我.

For HL campus,the number of classes in PN and K1 in the following year is normally the same. if PN has 5 classes this year, then it is very likely that K1 next year will also have 5 classes.

Most of the PN students will stay for K1, but some will leave. The seats for outsiders are from those PN students who have left, so the seats are very limited.

The Chinese theme books (text books) of LH is difficult, but the students are only expected to understand the contents, but not recognize all words in there or read them out. Students are expected to recognize words in the word cards of each theme. My boy cannot read out all the words in the Chinese theme books. He can read out all words in all English theme books though.

No test or exam to take in LHK , no rating of students, but the school will give you progress report every month, means less pressure on parents and the pupils.

And LHK engage pupils to speak out and participate in class activites, be confident in front of people. Also, the school engage pupils to read, read, read.
