想問報名好像要近2年成績表,但k2未派成績表... 可否後補k2成績表?

想問interview 家長衣著是要著什衣著印象分會好點?

The receptionist explictly mentioned to me that only kids to attend in the first interview.

The interview time is not only Thur n Fri. They did mention Friday, Monday and Tuesday. I think they prefer to do it in weekday.

K1 + K2 first semester results are already fine for the application.

Causal wear. no interview with parent.
Hand-in all missed document with application in this time.
but fill the questionaire when waiting your kid.

Yes, the school start interview and give offer early June already. From other BK parents, at least 10 kids get offer already and many on Waiting List.
The school administration does not tell the truth when you call them, they will say wait for 1 month for result of 2nd interview but actually they give 2 nd interview and offer already

. they only have 66 places so you interview late means lower chance and maybe no more place in september or october. different arrangement than other school and very disorganized process.

I think the staff who pick up phones can't disclose anything, the answer they reply is the standard script. Regarding the way they pick students, I would say that is their "unique way" which not many school adopt. It's not a surprise at all as they have been running this for many yrs, it's just that the starting date has been pushing to June this yr instead of sept. I guess they wanna spend more time on each kid instead of having thousands of kid to interview on a single day.In fact, the admin cost is higher if they do it in this way. When I read the posts here, all of us receive reject/waiting letter approx a month after 1st interview, it's quite in order.

這點真的令許多有興趣報考這校的家長不滿。而放棄申請。但他們的文職員工，必須按指示工作，就算我自己都會有不滿的地方。
但希望孩子入學後，孩子的得益可以令家長的心情開心一點。而原諒這不滿的地方。

Agree agree. share the same feeling about the school arrangement. very bad arrangement and poor information given to parents. if the game will be played like that, they must tell all parents so we know what to expect. why are they so secretive about the whole process.

到現在還未滿額外，我自己估計以他們的收生効率，大約只收了近3成左右。
其實這樣收生的方式，使用的資源真的會多好多，小朋友以攤位形式，以一對一評估測試各樣要求。這樣會減了只由一位老師面試而決定成功與否的不公平。這樣的方式，每天最多可以處理數十個申請的。効率真是很慢的。
如通過第一次面試而進入第二輪的，每個家庭需要約半小時多，我想每天最多處理四至五個。
如果用收報名費方式賺錢，可能這兩年真的收得不足夠，而要近兩年都加了學費的。

I guess you don't understand what the problem is. I am saying why the school staff says "NO phone calls have been made or emails have been sent to any parents. Expect notification of 2nd Interview / Waiting List / Reject by mail in about 1 month". When in fact the school has been calling parents for 2nd interview AND also giving offers about 2 weeks after interview

. Do you still call this "quite in order"???. It is out of expectation when we see other BK parents get call for 2nd Interview and some also get offer already.

If this is what they do and how they play this stupid game, then tell all the parents this is the way they proceed with the selection process

. We don't see any fairness in this process. Many parents will reconsider applying to this school.

作為CD-ROM已久,今天註冊,因為不吐不快. SMC的小一申請可以說是本末倒至及行政混亂. 參考ICQM, HKBUAS, TSL的做法都是先Admission Talk後報名, 以及有非常詳細收生程序, 確保所有家長明白什麼時候會發生什麼. 唯獨SMC先報名 (仲要先報先面試先收生)及非常後(八月及十月)briefing, 實在唔明點解甘奇怪.

唯有祝有offer既家長未來六年好運.

I don't agree with "所以絕對不會先報就機會大些". Interview start in June already and many offers already given in July. They only have 66 places to offer. So if you apply in September/October, how many places will they have left?????

Maybe you were lucky last year because some kids release or don't take the offer cause other schools they like give them offer already.

SMC的收生程序是有點特別，不過歷年如是，心儀此校的家長早有心理準備，有些根本早一年就去聽定簡介會，攞定tips，我就親耳聽過校長說越早報越著數，到我第二年去聽talk就一併交埋表同portfolio，10月頭就有offer了(我那年8月才開始收表)。所以佢的程序有好有唔好，做足功課，識玩的話，你可能會發現佢嘅好處，不過今年提早收表的碓令人有點失預算。
