囡囡由細開始返playgroup，到幼稚園都上phonics 同其他英文班，但堂堂瞓覺，每次都話唔鐘意，所以到K2已經無再上。
上到小學，上堂聽唔明，加上懶惰，跟本跟唔上，作為佢媽咪的我，所有放法都試過都無法令囡囡可跟得上學校
的進度，各位JM, 有乜方法?

投其所好，她喜歡甚麼就陪她看相關的英文書、電視或dvd。

一定要趁佢仲細，培養佢對英文的興趣，否則遲d差太遠、追吾到，仲難搞，劣勢一成，日後十幾年，你同佢讀書都好痛苦。

Parents read together with children is the most effective way.  Try to read with her 20 to 30 min a day.  Simply enjoy reading during that period.  Do not test her whether she know the meaning or spelling of words etc. Just read for fun.

Take her to the library or book shop and let her choose the books.  Don't stop her even if she chooses a book with more pictures/drawings than words.

Be a role model.  Read English books, newspapers or magazines at home.

same here.. 我女已是 P3 , 小時無咁refuse .. now 叫佢溫習, 佢會唔鍾意...
唔肯串英文生字, 就萛串完.又好快唔記得...除了老師既默書範圍佢會睇之外, 佢其他唔會睇/溫 (但係是在課本內) ..有咩辦法??

Be patient and don't give up. She may be testing your bottom line. Try to arouse her interest first. I think P3 kids would still like cartoon and Disney princesses, right? If so, get some books and read with her or watch TV together. Good luck.

我女今年也是讀P1。

阿女K2才開始學英文。到K3時，教了多次后還是串不出自己的英文名。英文進度遠落後于同學仔。因而她自己對英文亦就非常抗拒。

女兒現在卻不再抗拒英文，在家還經常講不鹹不淡的英文。英文成績雖未至於好優秀，但跟得上學校進度有餘，有時仲用她所識串的有限詞彙寫下作文仔，玩下遊戲。這1年里她待英文態度上的改變，我覺得原因如下：

1. 看她喜歡的英文卡通台。基本每天必看，時間控制在每天1小時內
2. 在家每日同她講幾分鐘英文
3. 英文伴讀。（圖書館及市面上有大量有趣的英文分階段故事書，是很好的開始）
4. 學習phonics (阿女不喜學phonics，我覺得她語言天分也弱，所以教她phonics死了不少細胞，需絞盡腦汁提升她的興趣，至少不抗拒）

少少我個人的經驗，供參考。

If watching TV or cartoons, try to turn on Closed Captioning. That is supposed to really help as well.

我個仔 k3 , 英文唔叻, 串字唔得,
但佢唔抗拒英文
我講明如果要我幫忙或要我批准o既事, 要用英文發言,

初期教佢, 用實物去教,
例如 this is a car,

跟住係動作, 開燈制
turn on the light, turn off the light

請佢幫忙開燈, can you help me turn on the light ?

學得一排就玩小組討論
例如我同太太係佢面前講盡量簡單英文
問: mummy, what would you like to eat ??
答: daddy, i like apple, i like hot dog
互問一輪之後再問個仔, 佢會搶住答
我個方法只係希望佢有對英文d興趣
唔好抗拒. 叻唔叻睇佢自己

我個女因為自細用廣東話溝通，佢覺得英文無乜用，因此無心機記無心學習，k2時已搞唔掂，因為無信心就唔肯開口回答問題。跟住我帶佢去kumon由淺入深教，miss好有心教佢，今年佢已經k3，學左年半了，串字同理解已無大問題了，在學校評估也見得人了

請問是關了中文字幕嗎？我們看的是disney卡通台，此前我還想轉英文字幕，但香港寬頻复我地沒英文字幕。

可以返內地買 Dora's Adventure, 只有普通話同英文雙語, 好似冇繁體字幕, 內容亦比較簡單.

如果小朋友細，不一定要字幕。阿女由細到而家都不會專登開字幕，又得喎。
