I think SJC focuses on academic aspect. My son studied in this school when he was in K2 and K3. I am not sure about the present situation, but three years ago, there were 2 tests and 2 exams for all the subjects, even including Bible, every year. So, adapting to P1 is absolutely OK, especially English.
