Does anyone heard of or have any experience of Woodland Preschool?

My gal was in the one in tai tam. Good school except for expensive school fees.

I was in the school ground for a story sharing session. I stayed and observed the kids durning the lunch session. U could see once they finished their lunch, they would sit around the books basket and started to read books. They could not read words yet but still read the picture page by page.
Some of them even came to me and asked me reading books to them.

Woodland runs both traditional and Montessori classes and while it has a good reputation, I think different locations offer very different schooling experiences.

Whether Woodland is better than ESF really depends on your child. Personally my son attended Woodland Montessori for about a year (play group through to preschool) before I switched him to ESF K1. For us, ESF was much better for my son.

Generally speaking. outside of academics, I think Woodland Montessori concentrates on promoting independence while ESF is more focused on socializing the child.
