如果想阿仔將來入讀直資或私立小學,邊間好啲?我喜歡Victoria嘅教學理念,but 擔心太free, 請指教. Only offer for Victoria AM class.

I dig up from the old posts.
U can read the posts about victoria before your decision.
The most surprised me is the following post:

"Victoria offers a better environment, and in my opinion, the school puts more emphasis than SC on transparency and school-parent communication. I would also believe that Victoria's English syballus is a bit more advanced, as SC is now teaching my K2 son the same set of books he used in Victoria PN. And I think what makes the biggest difference is, as one of the mums said, Victoria has 2 teachers, 1 Chinese and I native English, in one class throughout the 3 years while SC's only got 20 mins of Eng lesson each day starting from K2. In the last open day, I didn't even get a chance to speak to the Eng teacher!"

Frankly, Discipline teaching in Victoria is less when compare with most local kinder. But still I don't want my girl to study in such a strict environment.

Victoria encourages the kids to be independent and have their own ideas and thinkings.

Sorry that I deviate a lot from the topic. KM is a very traditional kinder and is totally different style from Victoria. I don't 'buy' KM style. It seems too harsh for kids. So depends on what kind of school teaching u like, i think it's easy to choose between the two.

我K1 就放棄左 Victoria , 選擇 KM 。因當初認為 KM 的模式較適合囡囡。其實很多家長都覺得 KM 好谷，好 harsh。。記住這只是大人的想法。。其實小朋友是有能力的，當他們應付得到，他們不會覺得辛苦的。好像囡囡一樣讀得開心，還很 enjoy 做功課的過程。所以選擇一所合適的學校吧！

好羨慕你囡囡有這麼好的學習態度，我也希望仔仔enjoy 做功課！我認同小朋友學習能力好強，我只是擔心他缺乏専注力。你認為KM對這方面有大幫忙吧？

我囝係維記學生，所以我只可以講下我對維記既感覺！

維記幾著重學生既自主性，可能佢地相信係小朋友自己揀既就會更比心機去做！例如就算係PN班，佢地都會由學生自己揀故事書，唔係由老師派！而自理方面似乎都訓練得唔錯！

佢地實在唔會需要一個好細既小朋友 (我以PN黎講) 坐好耐聽書，但同時佢地都會訓練佢地既耐性，例如一個主題佢地會希望小朋友可以專注10-20分鐘，然後再轉其他野！聽老師講，小朋友愈大，專注力可以愈長時，佢地既要求先會按住小朋友既發展黎提高！

至於功課，其實PN唔算多，一星期一本故事書、一個小肌肉功課、一份數學功課、一D親子/ prepare for phonics既功課之類，唔叫多，隔一兩日就會有一份，但因為全部係親子習作，所以基本上係會有好多「親子時間」！

我冇比較過其他幼稚園，我只覺得維記係按小朋友既發展歷程黎訓練佢地！

可能到阿囝考小一時，香港既教育制度已經改到比你都唔讀喇！

亦多得國X教育，我老公先肯諗傳統學校以外既學校；
而我，因為係香港土生土長，所以不嬲對香港傳統既教育冇咩好感！

我自己都係喺香港傳统学校成長，自己感受過弊多於利，唔想比個囝走呢條路。傳統可能早期打底做得好啲，但長遠就不行了！

係呀！就算 Playgroup 都係自己揀書返屋企睇，所以次次我個女揀嗰本都係一樣！比佢激死！哈哈哈哈！

維記銜接傳統小學係有點困難....我朋友個仔就有咁問題,阿媽跟小一功課好辛苦,除非父母自行再補..我小朋友讀劍鳴,一啲都唔覺得谷,如果目標普通小學,劍鳴較合適

我地都係呢兩間, 不過係k1

最後交左km留位費..... 本身我都好鍾意victoria既教學理念, 但無耐我想女兒讀傳統小學..... 相信km較易適應..... 而且我睇左好多呢到關於km真正用家既comment, 其實小朋友都好鍾意返學亦唔覺得好谷..... 而且據聞學校課程不俗.... style似sc, kv中間.....如果係真的, 咁比較all rounded又幾好.....

另一原因係我好想小朋友返學有戶外操場走動下, 呢樣係victoria一個少少不足.....
