I like the campus of Victoria more and I like their interview arrangement (better than LH). But I am not sure these two factors should be reason for making the decision.

My son got Victoria offer, honestly I like Victoria's campus too and their interview arrangement. I did not interview 凱帆學之園 but 青衣學之園, my husband told me TYLH's teachers quite rude during the interview (as my husband went with my son). We did not get 青衣學之園 offer so far, but if we got it, we still choose Victoria (Harbour Green) :D

My hubby likes HG Victoria too but he did not go for the interview at LH with us so he could not compare. But he leans toward Victoria as he prefers Happy School more. You son's offer is Victoria's am class?

I have no idea about Primary school now. Prefer the local schools. I know LH is strong at acamedic but Vic is a happy school.

My girl also got the offers from these two schools. Vic am and LH pm class. In fact, I am preparing to register Vic after school holidays but just received LH pm offer. Thinking again !

我個小朋友以前都係有LH and Victoria (HG) offers,諗咗好耐最終選LH. 主要原因係諗住LH 升小個support 好啲，亦無打算讀維小。

Alot of ppl said LH has a better support for primary. But I got the impression that the primary placement result for Victoria is better than LH. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am not planning to send my girl to Victoria primary school too. My hubby's point is too pushy and agressive at the acamedic at this age will make the kids lose the interest of learning? He thinks that learning is very long process and we don't need to push them at this early age. Just let them enjoy their childhood and have fun. For me I also prefer the Happy School too and alot of ppl said Victoria's students are more confident and out spoken. But at the same time, I also have to consider the rule of games of local primary schools. It is not easy to be parents nowsadays.

I agree too. I know a lot of people lost the interest to study when in primary or secondary cos studied too hard when they are kids. Some of them got private tutors when kindergarten. They manage to go to good primary but were kicked out at primary 4.

My girl has attended Vic playgroup for 8 months before from which I noted that the teachers are really caring. I also observed other K1 to K3 students how they learn by small group activities which are interesting. They can learn happily through different activities. I think I will choose Vic finally. It's a difficult decision to give up LH given that there are many positive comments on this school.

我既要求也是happy learning . Non-pushy . 所以兩間我當年都鍾意。因為兩間都係這個style的學校，亦鼓勵閱讀，而維記仲要比LH名氣更大。所以如果只揸住呢個要求（happy/non pushy) 我係無法做到選擇，所以我當年考慮埋好多其他因素。現在每次想起，都覺得當年決定很對。

Yes I have already checked the primary placement result from their websites and it seems that Victoria is better (just me impression) although lots of students went to Victoria primary school.

I think it can't be wrong for both schools as they are all good. But I am leaning toward Victoria as all the comments from the ppl I know who are studying at Victoria are 返學好開心，好鐘意返學。相反，我返playgroup識到幾個家長，佢哋嘅大女／仔讀緊LH都話LH會谷，小朋友坐唔定嘅就比較辛苦。I think happy learning is the most important for kids. 不竟只是PN class 而我宜家亦未十分確定自己個囡係未可以好定好乖個種。我想我應該從小孩子角度方面想，選擇happy school.

當然,維記都係我喜愛的學校之一.啊,記得了,維記有一點我是不太OK的,就是每天會唱國歌.呢點亦係人人價值不同,有人喜歡有人不喜歡,唔同意呢個觀點亦無需爭抝.

可能你的小朋友比較叻，從來都唔覺LH谷。我喺談幼稚園嗰topic睇到有一個家長嘅囡囡本身讀緊LH, 話LH都幾谷，睇你個小朋友可唔可以坐定定做功課，如K2下學期每日有三樣功課，週末如要準備presentation試過有七樣功課。呢樣嘢我都從幾個LH家長都聽到。另外呢個BK Mama 最不滿係LH老師流動性頗高。呢方面我就未聽過，有冇人可以分享一下。

我都係去青衣學之園分校 interview, 但比我印象好好，我本來 in 12:30, 12:00 左右去到，佢地安排好好，唔會太多人同一時間，我去過 st cat 同 vic, 真係同一時間多人到我行步路都同人撞，st cat 仲安排小朋友坐定定係張枱坐半小時，家長係冇得坐，我同隔離位既媽咪都感到唔開心， Lh 當日仲主動比我提早 12:00 in, 雖然我原意係想比小朋友有少少時間 warm up，但 in 完後，又唔會趕我走，可以繼續比小朋友留係到玩，校長仲有問必答，我第一次 in 學校，係有校長會係 first in 出現，同家長傾計 15 mins, in 我個 miss 雖然冇乜笑容，但 first part 好有耐性等我 B 答問題, 我 B 係怕羞慢熱性，所以答問題會耐，老師無催過，仲同BB講：你原來識既，慢慢講我知啦，我好驚訝老師咁好人；相反，in victoria 時，個 net 講左 4 次我個B she is too shy, 我B雖然唔鐘意講野，但唔代表佢唔識野，個 net 走左後，我女同我講驚驚，要走，in 完後，出去同老豆講： i m too shy, 然後全程唔開心，唔出聲

多謝你嘅意見，我In嘅係凱帆軒學之園，因我是星期五早上8：45嗰批，唔係太多人。流程亦唔算長，但老師好似比較cool,同埋可能係頭一兩批，係part one role play 嘅過程，除咗lead role play 嗰位老師外，其他在場觀察嘅老師好似好忙咁處理paper work，好似冇留意小朋友嘅表現。Vic 我係in sat pm,校長全程都係到喎。感覺嘅嘢真係好見仁見智嘅可能大家遇到嘅老師唔同啦！

I have just made the registration for PN at Victoria Harbour Green (today is the deadline).  My daugther got the offer from LH and VIC (both am class) and it is really rough for me to make the decision as both schools are good.  I finally chose VIC and gave up LH offer because of the following reasons:-
1. Location:  As I am living at Olympian 2, the logistic to go to VIC is much easier than to LH.  As I am a working mom and my maid will pick up my girl after school (I will bring her to school before work), safety is my concern. All the way from my home to VIC is almost under cover.  Even if it rains, it is still OK.
2. Campus. I like the campus of VIC more than LH.  It is newer, cleaner, nicer, warmer and bigger (this is just my feeling and I know other ppl may have different feeling and they may like LH's campus more - p.s. LH has outdoor playgroup but VIC does not have)
3. PG Class - VIC provides PG Class (but my girl did not attend).  I think VIC teachers would be more experienced to take care of the toddlers at young age.  I think safety and caring is important for the PN students as they are still very young.
4. Teachers and Students Ratio.  I searched the information from the website and talked to the moms who have kids at VIC and LH. I found the teachers and students ratio for VIC is slightly lower than LH
5. Experience of Teachers. Again I searched from the website, the number of teachers who have more then 7 years experience in VIC is greater than LH.
6. AM OR PM CLASS.  Even if you got the AM offer from LH for PN class, it is no guaranteed that you can go for AM class at K1.  (this is just my preference that I refer AM class, for some other parents, it may not be a concern)  P.S. But all the K3 class in VIC will be at PM but the parents can choose for their whole day class too.
7. Primary 1 Placement Result - I think that their result is similar (just my opinion) but it is really difficult to tell as we really don't know what is the priority/target of the choices of parents.  What I am trying to say is if the placement result is just so-so (accordingly to most of the ppl standard), but if all the schools are already the no. 1 choice of their parents, I think the result is already very good.  Vice Versa, if alot of parents could not get into the schools they like and think suitable for their kids, even if the kids can go to well known schools (maybe it is their choice no. 4 or 5), I don't think that the placement result of this kindergarden is good.  So we cannot just compare the placement reult without knowing all the detailed information.
8. IB - I also got the impression before that the graduates from IB schools will be more suitable to go to International primary schools.  After taking to a pimary school teacher (a famous traditional local school), I think my impression is wrong.  The teacher said it is too early to tell whether local or international at this age and she also think that graduates from IB kindergardens can go for both international and local schools.  It really depends on parents.  Even for the local schools, they can do well.  This is just too much worry from the parents

Sorry for the long post. I just want to share my feeling when I am making the decision. It is really a tough deicison to make as I really heard alot of good comments for LH too. Hope this will be helpful to the parents who are also considering VIC and LH. I think both schools are good and you can't go wrong with either one!
