各位有經驗的家長：

想請問：
1。 St PETER在YORK，算是較北的地方，有否ACCENT的問題呢？
2。請問知道他們boarding house 的香港學生人數嗎？

北面係有北面既accent,有時幾難明,但係多數boarding school個d老師既accent會冇咁重St Peter's is very good! 好少香港人。

My parents choose St Swithun's Girls for me finally as they prefer a single sex school. I agree with them after reading the ft. school ranking table and their previous exam results. Anyway, I am still worrying because I don't know too much about this school.

我大仔去年曾經到St Peter參觀約一小時同校長傾談約半小時，他對此校印像都幾好，學生很有禮貌和純樸，校長看得出是很關心學生的需要，中國人每級少於10人，老師學生講的英語口音都幾純正，但課外活動和其他私校比唔算多。

如果時間許可，你可好似我大仔一樣，飛到英國約時間見校長參觀學校和同校長老師傾談面試，阿大參觀過的學校間間都收他，包括st Peter, 雖然最終間間參觀過的學校都冇讀，不過他覺得都值得，起碼對學校了解甚多，及加強自已面試的自信。

St Swithun's is very good with excellent results. You will like it there. I know some girls who are there right now. If you can get in or already in, I would recommend this one over St Peter's,

I agree St Swithun's over St Peter's, even though St Peter's is also a good school.
I also find Winchester a nicer place to stay than York.

Dear all,

Thank you very much for your assurances. It really comforts me especially during the moment that I have to make such an important decision. I am studying in one of the leading girls school in HK and hopefully I can have a good result in DSE. The acceptance of the offer means that I have to give up something I am confident and have to start all over again. I trust that you all are experienced parents and your comments on St Swithun's School really release my nervous and uncertainty.
