Go to the orientation day doesn't guarantee a chance for interview but it will definite helpful because they will mark down all parent who attend those orientation day

I was the one who asked "academic" question. Yes, too many B6 yesterday. And I notice one man to smoke immediately while waiting the bus to the campus. A little bit disappointing, not as expected.

Yes if quotas are full. But they told they wouldn't arrange interview without attending the orientation day.

2歲起每月$13000學費，班中一個外國同學也沒有，見場中有國內小朋友太嘈被職員請走，父母仍莫不關心的態度，讀弘立，HKIS , Harrow好過！

I sitted in the front and didn't notice. Just heard some baby crying. We are living in KLN Tong, the school you suggested seems far from us. I want my son to study "full day", any recommendations? We are going to Manhabit Open Day tomorrow, to see how is it.

My baby is in their pg and is going to attend PN there. 1/3 mainlanders, but very nice and well educated ( we met during the talks and parents evening). So far is the best playgroup! 3 thumbs up! It's a very good school for KG provided you can afford it :)

我正考慮，耀中和維多利亞，將來升小及升中問題。我住九龍，維小、維中要去深灣，耀中小學約$15000一個月，維多利亞約$8000。但我是twin BB, 不過都入了紙排耀入ITLP先！！！

Thanks for the advice. I consider Yew Chung mainly because they got "full day" class. PG seems not suit for me as I am a working mother and only want the PG to be scheduled for Saturday. YC only got weekdays. I guess I would apply the 2-ye-old full day class.

But the chance might not be high if not from ITLP

I notice the parents at Manhabit are in general more decent and polite. Only compared with those Yew Chung I met on 14 March.

我個女入咗13年2歲班, 今年唔難入, 我個仔依家讀緊2歲班, 我記得好似得一,兩個係B6, 同埋佢地家長係流利英文喎, 佢仲有外藉同學仔, 個人覺得D同學家長幾好, 有錢但唔會show off, 老師亦對學生很好, 小朋友番學會好開心

Yes, I also found the school is more organized as compared with Manhabit, I only went to the orientation of these two at the moment. But I am not sure if the syllabus there is too easy, the school said they got no text books nor lesson. May be 2-yr-old is ok, if onwards I scare the boy will learn too "little". I understand kids shouldn't be forced at the stage, just that the world is too competitive now.

Planning to apply Yew Chung 2-yr-old whole day then another Kinder for K1, may be. My son is looking for the 2014 class, the year of Dragon

Orientation Day said they emphased on 廣東話, you may phone the school to ask, the staff is quite nice and helpful

I am a working mom, my baby attended their playgroup for 5 days a week with my helper. They have a school bus service even for playgroup students with their helpers, from your home till school, very safe and reliable.

YC syllabus is definitely well organized and the teachers are full of passion.
Manhabit school is too green.

They stressed on the emphasis of using the mother tongue as their first language. So PN/PG students would be having English/ Cantonese speaking lesson while from 3 years onwards, they will have mandarin instead.

5 days class + school bus fee around $10000.

I will go to the PN too if getting admitted. They said priority would be given to the ITLP students but would also have some seats to the new comers. Since they mainly interview the parents, we found it more certain.

Yes, Manhabit is too new, and some of the teachers are young so not sure if they are experienced.

Basically if they call u for interview, they have a place for you. The purpose of the so called interview is just as a screening, making sure your baby is not retarded.
