I might be comparing apple to orange rather than apple to apple but wonder which one you would choose if you are given this 2 different offers at the same time ...

Anfield is Rome Catholic, CAIS is Christian; Anfield can move up to P6 with England curriculum while CAIS is through train to G12 with Canadian Alberta curriculum.
Also, Anfield will be more popular if you are targeting ESF primary schools as ESF KG kids do not have definite priority.
CAIS is more popular for local parents while Anfield and ESF are popular for non-Cantonese speakers.
It really depends on u need an apple or an orange.

Why is Anfield more popular with non-Chinese parents but CAIS more popular with local parents? Thanks!

Cais students are very international, theirEnglish is very good

Just from my observation on the interview day, there was quite an "international" mix of candidates.  There were 3 - 4 blonde hair children and 5 - 6 Korean / Japanese.  But I also noticed many children playing at the playground spoke Cantonese.

Anyone knows if anfield might be considering to open up its own high school (rather than partner school at sha tau kok)
作者: kittyhannah    時間: 13-3-8 14:18

i mean opening it in the near future.   If yes, i might tend towards anfield due to my family's religious background.  Yet both schools have teachers taking good care of children as far as i know....

If Anfield would have its secondary school soon, I prefer Anfield.

U can go to the campus then u can see more non Cantonese speaking parents in Anfield.

Rather check out the students playing in campus rather than in the interview day.

I am catholic too but we knew it is a catholic school after my elder one admitted to it.
It is more like those LS catholic schools, there is no religious study while all kids participate the morning prayer everyday. Recently, the elder kids take turns to lead the prayer, it is so lovely! You can drop by that at 830 in the morning to hear their voice through the loudspeaker.

I think the location is the prime consideration!

And, CAIS just announced to reopen Shek  Kip Mei Campus for additional seats for coming Prep 1. It seems the arrangement is not very organized now. I can't figure out the details with 2 emails.

For the 2013-2014 academic year, preparatory classes will be offered at both Lai Yiu and Shek Kip Mei campuses. Shek Kip Mei Campus will thereafter remain a preparatory campus untils students can be accommodated at the new Lai Chi Kok Campus"

Why do you prefer Anfield over CAIS?
My boy is attending Anfield Nursery now and considering both Anfield and CAIS for Primary.
