標題: 只有一間SJS offer,你會放棄而博有waiting call 嗎? [打印本頁]

deadline for paying the usage fee tomorrow. Need to pay double, not only one. So thinking of giving up and see if we can get other waiting calls. Don;t want to pay 12 months school fee vs others only paying 10 or 11 months!!!!

我係你會俾左先，起碼黎緊幾個月個心定啲，如果call waiting 有其他offer就當係bonus，到時俾多個選擇你去決定讀邊間囉，萬一call waiting冇嘅，咪讀sjs

如果你唔俾，遲d無書讀你就後悔...

Of course pay!!! SJC is a good school as well!

我都面對同一問題，因為我係twins俾double,但眼見佢地讀n班間學校幾好，所以傾向放棄

如果讀緊N班可以直上，又唔太差，就算係有得揀，所以要睇下你情況如何了。

如果有讀pn有back up，咁交吾交SJS留位費，都無所謂。但如果無back up，吾留位真係驚無書讀。

我試過間學校, waiting排到3x. 即係無人call.

waiting 定義真係好廣闊, pn有間學校, 我小朋友都係on waiting list, call waiting 都仲要interview.

Thank you everyone for your kind advise and assistance. Although I am still struggling whether I should pay or not. But most likely we will face to the reality.................. "pay and pray!!!"
If I have any successful waiting calls, I will defintely come back and let you all know.
BTW, the strong evidence I choose to pay is SJS has really strong English background which is good for the boys going back to Australia for primary after these three years kinder.
In the last few months, I saw and experienced "this Battle War" - kids fighting for a seat to Kinder. I don;t really want to do it again while they are going to P1 in three years later.

We gave up SJC as we got Alliance Kindergarten.

My son is in SJC PN but got accepted by Alliance. Alliance is more balanced. True SJC has strong English. My son develops strong English foundation in last 6 months. But the school has many problems.

Do you mind to share the problem(s) you have experienced with SJC ?
My boy is going to join SJC K1 in coming September. We have handed in the first six-months of usage fee to confirm the placement. But we want to know the problem of the school, if any - either generic or individualistic - in advance so we can get the best preparation for our boy, thank you !

Poor administration; money-oriented culture; overemphasis on English; poor amenities; too many putonghua-speaking students casuing use of Chinese as medium of instruction in K1
