我暫時考慮 West Buckland School 或 Cheltnham College, 你的小朋友都是 YR10 嗎??

Cheltnham College 其實不錯的！係名校區內，HK/Chinese 較少！如果去讀 Year 10 & 11，之後都有D女仔轉入 Cheltenham Ladies College!

我女女吾肯 apply 女校, 所以我沒有 apply 呢間咁好既學校; 但這間學校好嗎??
因為都比較貴D, 而ranking 同 West Buckland School 差不多呢!!

CLC girls 好串的，因為大家都係勁人，我識人係裡面讀，D女仔都幾鍾意比較，壓力較大。但係成績的確係個個都好好…

我星期一要比deposit 啦, 所以宜家好煩!!!West Buckland 比 deposit 最遲 3月8日.
另有2間都要等多一星期.....

Hi, 呢間學校好似好多人考到, 問過 agent 都冇話特別!!! 其實我本人覺得 West Buckland 好似幾好, 但冇家長比D意見,所以心大心細. 今日 Kings Cantenbury 通知收左女女 .... 但我都還未拿定主意

Congratulations!
Now that you have offer from King's Canterbury, I honestly think that this is your best choice. It is certainly a few notches higher than Cheltenham College & West Buckland School, in terms of both academic results and reputation. Being the oldest school in England, it is also amongst the most well known. Out of all the full boarding co-ed schools, I can't think of a better one other than Sevenoaks (but then it does IB which I don't like!). Perhaps Oundle & to a lesser degree, Rugby, may be considered its equal. For me, Concord is too international and Brighton has too few boarders. So why the hesitation?

Congratulations!

I also concur with peter pan's observation. King's may be the best top three  all-around co-edu boarding school in UK. But just bearing King's would only let the several top set students studying triple science in Year 11 while the under-performed one studying combined science.

For all I know from King's, they all highly recommend this school. During the past two years, at least 3 Hong Kong girls gradauted from King's with at least 5A* in GCE A level and I trust that they already got oxbridge offers or medicine offers from local u.

If I have over 32000 pounds budget, I have no hesitation to let my younger son applying this school too.

opps,. 我MIX UP WITH Cheltenham Ladies :)Kings Canterbury is better than Cheltenham College.
