Just curious. If no subventions, why parents will choose PIS? Is ESF not your choice if fees is same as other PIS. ESF has had strong IB Diplima result.

From what I've heard, those entering ESF this coming August will still be under subvention (for up to 13 years - for those entering Year 1). The government is likely to table its proposal to remove subvention to Legco at the end of this year and it will likely be passed by next year (so next year's students entering ESF will no longer enjoy the subventions).

That's why the offer letter for this year's primary students follows the same fee structure as those under subvention ($66,100 per primary, $98,000 for years 7-11, $102,000 for years 12&13.)
