Does anyone know if we have a chance to get a place in K1?

I heard that if they have 100 places, they just send out 100 invitation letters, correct me if i am wrong, and really do not know what happend this year.

I got the same letter as yours for the interview (seen from another post), but finally we got the letter with active waiting list. Actually my child is also attending Boxhill, many people think it is a good school but I'm worried about the chance of getting an interview in RC or SJS 2 years later.

if you targeting RC, then the chances from both schools are the same

No, that's not the case. For this year for RC Year 1 application, not all applicants got interview offer but all WSK applicants got invited.

I also got the same invitation letter as yours too. The only difference may be we are on Cat 2 but your are Cat 1.

Thanks for the info, your child is studying in boxhill? If some kids could not get interview offer from RC, then could you please share which other IS primarys do boxhill targets especially? I am also struggling between the two......

Same here... don't know how to make decision... really don't know what will happen after 2 years... and how about if my kids cannot be accepted by ESF primary school... what can we do then...?

We r on active waiting list as well, but I decided to give up esf kinds.

The overwhelming majority with an offer has not reached the contract yet, therefore it is very likely that the kids on active wait list could get an offer finally.

If you target ESF/PIS, just wait some days and see.

I am so, I think there are more than a dozen of kids' parents are waiting the contract with offers already.

My son is also on the active waiting list at wks EFS. I believe he was not given an offer on the first round simply because he is Cat 2 and no sibling priority. I hope he will end up with an offer.

Is0909, if your mother tongue is Cantonese. of course you are in Cat 2.
