Would any TT parents be able to offer your insights on the following:
1) what sort of things do they teach in pn? eg. phonics?
2) what do u like most about the school?
3) what are some important skills your child learnt from the school?

any comments would be v much appreciated as i m considering whether to pay for their second deposit for pn offer. thanks heaps!

Playgroup students can enrol to PN with no interview needed.

去年apply過TT kln tong salfolk campus. 我小朋友冇join 過佢哋playgroup ，但唔駛任何interview，只要交$7500 non refundable deposit就有offer。

My bub enjoys their playgroup lots. They have various sensory activities for the kids to freely explore. They also try to teach different concepts, like colours, shapes, public transport in various ways.
but also depends if your teacher is interactive or not. Then I guess it is the same with all places. Downside would be the cost.
with pn, you get priority if you join their playgroup.

My daughter was studying from playgroup until nursery now.  This school is very good and my daughter can speak and understand the instruction and simple words in Mandarin..
The cost is high but I am sure your kids no need to spend extra  time in language tutorial course outside.  All teachers are encouraging all students to speak and express more so the kids are happy and have confident in expressing their feelings and thoughts.

Besides the facilities in the school is very good, of course 一分錢分貨.

I love this school very much and my daughter has became a talkative and presentable girl.

Peonle, this is a very good school at all.  All language teachers and the class teachers are kind and caring.  My daughter was studying here since 2011 playgroup now, I found all parents, kids and the teachers are very nice.
The facilities in the school is very good, they have "Bouncing bed跳彈床" and small-scale climbing wall, so the kids physical skill were developing very well.

For the language, 1.5 hr taught in Mandarin and 1.5 hr taught in English and the teachers always encourage the students to express themselves and try to speak the words.  The cirriculum is very good, sometimes, we can say better than VXXXXXXRIA. Small size class, 1:9 each class with a "Sum Sum" to assist the student to the toilet.
The teachers always sends you the emails to tell you how is your kid in the class, what s his improvement and strength. And there are a weekly report about what had the kids learn in both English class and Mandarin class, a monthly report about what event in the class was held or going to hold.

All kids are happy there so don't worry about that, if you want your kids to become a presentable and sociable person with strong motor skill, it is absolutely right choice.

My daughter got the K1 offers from St Johannes, Anfield, YMCA, HK Academy and ICS; 2 of her classmates got VIC offer, 1 got offer from Mangsang,some of them got offer from IS and some of them still staying to K1.

Originally I was a fan of Tutor Time also, no complain on their teachers, curriculums n environment. I did recommend to friends to study there.

My daughter was there since 1 year old, 4 years ago
I continued to register my younger son last year in playgroup n nursery

Everything was fine until the new registration policy of this coming September new term!

Be careful of their tricky way of asking the deposit!
Clever parents pls take notice!

Can you please provide more information on your current situation?

Which campus are you referring to? What class is you child in and what class did you register for?

So you paid the deposit, but still questioned the school's deposit policy and asked the Dept of Education to look into it?

By saying the school is now returning the deposit back to you. Are you implying that the school found out you complained to the govt and so rejected you child on purpose?

It's a long story

To be simple:

I have a boy who is now studying PN class in Tutor Time (sulfolk)

For coming 9/2013 PN new registration, they asked a deposit of 2 months tuition fee which is debited by another private company. I paid and had some queries because it seemed that not a common practice.

Then I checked with Social Welfare Dept and they started to investigate the case. A few days later, I received a call from the centre director and she said though I paid and registered, they don't have any place for my boy in cominng 9/2013.

BTW, if what Tutor TIme did about the new deposit is nothing offend the regulation, why don't they answer my query directly ?

The school director just asked me not to register their school and even kicked my son out of the campus

Regard to the two months deposit, $7,900.00 is the first month of tuition, and the other $7,900.00 is security deposit, it is for the final month of enrollment.

No ar. The 2 months deposit is all for secure the registration only. Not any part for tuition fee
That's why I felt doubt and asked for government regulation guide.
You check carefully

If what you said is true, then I won't hv any query

Debit note 寫明，唔讀要事先申請退回按金，要交晒所有學費，冇欠學校錢，先退返deposit
