小囡似漸漸由picture book踏入chapter book的世界. 想請問吓有冇適合的故事書.

好多女仔都鍾意 Rainbow Magic!
中性啲有 Magic Tree House, Oliver Moon

睇咗 Happy Families 未？會淺啲、 colourful 啲！

Yes, Happy Families 非常不錯, 圖書館有不少.

有一個系列叫"colour first reader", 係一d 初級既chapter book, 字體又大隻. e.g. 有Jacqueline Wilson 既 "The dinosaur's packed lunch" 同 "The Monster story-teller"

另外"Reading Heroes"同埋" Early Reader" 系列, 都係一d 初級既chapter book.

另外 Walker Books Ltd. 出既 "Starters" 系列, 比上面既更淺, 故事有趣. 香港唔多見賣, 但淘寶偶有少量賣, 香港圖書館都有少量.

我女初時看Rainbow magic 都不是由第一本開始看。不過之後我一次過買了1-28的box set 給她。

我問了她關於你的問題，她説雖然當中會有不同系列，例如'party fairy', 'Pet fairy'......但她覺得不跟次序看也沒關係。

There is also Junie B Jones but it is a bit more controversial and depends on whether you like those types of books

朋友兒子的小學代訂圖書，書單中有此box set( 好似係$550 28本）朋友知道我女喜歡此書，所以幫我買了。
出面書店有否我也不清楚，網上書店會否有呢？

我女對Junie B Jones 暫時無咩興趣.....唔知點解呢, 好似唔多合佢口味.
現在正追看Flat Stanley同Magic Tree house, 不過佢始終最喜歡Rainbow magic.

囡囡啱啱睇完圖書館借回來的 "The dinosaur's packed lunch" 同 "The Monster story-teller",好喜歡! 謝!
有打算買整個"colour first reader"系列,值得嗎?另外,系列內其他故事都有趣啱小朋友嗎?

我家暫時只有呢兩本, 其他的我女只是在書店打書釘時睇過, 所以唔肯定有無趣. 你可到大間一點的商務看看.

我女兒小時候很愛 Junie B Jones ，captain underpants, horrid Henry 的淘氣倒蛋書。magic tree house 返而不敢睇，因為比恐龍插畫赫親。佢連Magic Finger 裏面D人咁大的鴨都驚！

借左老鼠記者,比較落rainbow magic/ Magic tree house, d 英文好似深d, 呀女好多字唔識要問我.

Use the 5-finger rule? Going back and forth to understand each new vocabulary kind of take away the fun of reading. It is best if they can use the context to figure out the word.

My girl recently told me she read some Shakespeare plays and she likes some of them. I asked did you understand Shakespeare English? She said she did not understand a lot of them but she knew the story line.

She understand enough to read a few plays. Young children's power of comprehension is sometime quite amazing.

古老少少嘅例如 Alice's Adventures in Wonderland 同 Through the Looking Glass 都係初小學生可試嘅讀本, 因為故事街知巷聞, 而且 AMAZON 網站有電子版, 係免費架!

最近在圖書館揭到有套 Kitty and Friends 幾好，會講小朋友著緊的問題，如 It's not fair she has more presents, It's not fair he always wins... 不pushy 又比Rainbow Magic 有意思
