I got the exact same offer, can any of you provide more opinions on this? so far, seems MS is a better choice, but worry about making a wrong decision. Appreciate for all your feedback

ms is a kind of thro train school.. in this regard a nos of ppl would prefer it becuz it has own middle school... but bear in mind the promotion rate to its primary section would likely be around 50% only, cuz there is much more nos of k students than the nos of places available for ps.

from what i had researched LY is a very very loving school... i have read a nos of story that given the love that the teacher had offered to the students, a nos of so-so students changed their lives cuz of words from the teachers. you may also check out the video clip in LY's website about its 50 yrs anniversary... a very touching documentary edited by LY students, i shred with tears while watching it.... you would know what LY is about when seeing this video. it is a school of love, not a school that is always highlighting how big the achievement that some of alumini had reached... but how love would change students' lives. btw, it is certainly a happy school (primary school), but the percentage of students' banding look very promising.. around 64% achieved band 1, and 29% achieved band 2... not the highest among private school but very very good for a happy school..

ms primary is known as very traditional, loads of homework, read by rote

both schools are of christian church background.... what i felt is LY is more religious...

at first i was attracted by ms 's thro train scheme... but for now i would opt for LY...

you could find a nos of video in Youtube about LY.. most of them were produced by LY students, so you could know more about this school and its activities..

I like MS program and MS has a secondary school backup. However, the class sizes of MS kindergarten and primary school are quite large.

My kid is studying in MS KG and will be promoted to MS P1 next year. We love the school very much and the students and parents there have very strong sense of belongings to the school(I think this is a very good thing!). MS is very balanced in all aspects and have very high english standard.

Cheerglory, 我想請問民生現在K2 同K3 有冇net teacher 班主任, 中文程度又如何? 謝謝!

There are some NET TEACHERS in K2 and K3 but they are not class teachers as these programs are still under coupon systems. The average standards of students are very good in both English and Chinese. It depends on the parents' expectations. The kg programs are well-balanced. Most of students enjoy their school life very much.

中文程度都好好，我幾滿意。普通話老師同鬼佬英文老師都好專業，有HEART教書，也好好人，小朋友都很喜歡他們，語言進步很快。

There is no written exam in kindergarten. However, continuous assessments will be reported 4 times in a year. Continuous assessment will be covered academic, physical and social developments.
