If targeting RC(first choice), ICS, SJS, CKY, TYL, which kinder should I choose for 2013 academic year? I actually like boxhill's syllabus, and this kinder pays more attention on discipline and cares for kids

Kindly provide your advice and thanks a lot~

隔離 post 話 ESF Kinder 吾再有 priority, 你大可以簡冇咁Hea 的 international kinder 讀。

Thanks, very useful info, but I am not sure if the new policy will also have impact on 2013 academic year

吾好意思，再睇埋 ESF TY 個 post, 又有人話今年將入讀 ESF K1 的仍然有 priority 喎！

"The new policy will be effective from August 2013 for entry into ESF schools in August 2014."

So if your child has been accepted for ESF kindergarten in Aug 2013, he/she will still have the priority.

Can anybody share your experience at these two kinder?

I personally do not like "hea style", but the priority gained from esf kinder should be treasured under such a new admission policy

Boxhill is a good kinder with emphasis on discipline and some syllabus that would help in connection to local stream. Not very much though but much better than ESF. My son was accepted by ESF WKS in K1 but we decided to continue with Boxhill. One main reason was to buy an insurance on K3 seat in case my son couldn't get into RC. The teachers in Boxhill are caring. Mrs King and the teachers put in a lot of efforts in preparing the kids for interview in RC and Shatin Junior. My son is in RC now.
ESF Wks would leave you nowhere after K2 if u are not accepted by any Int'l school.

新方案下WKS 跟本唔會有優勢，簡Boxhill 喇！

新方案下如果申請 ESF Foundation School, WKS 係無優勢, 同 Boxhill 一樣.
不過想入 RC 就 WKS 有優勢, 去年 & 今年唔係所有申請人都有得IN, 但所有WKS 學生就一定有得 in.

thanks for the info, yes i agree, regardeless the priority, boxhill should be better

FYI, WKS acceptance rate by ESF & PIS is over 90% this year. Not sure about Boxhill, but I know some of them either got rejected or not even being interviewed.
