Interview:
1. All children play in indoor playground and wait for interview for about 15 min
2. Group of about 8 children sit down with parents in a room. Teachers 1 and 2, both young and nice HK, tell stories and sing Chinese and English songs while teacher 3 observes children and gives marks secretly on the side.
3. Afterwards, children play with toys on table. Teacher asks parent simple questions.

That's all. No gifts to give like other schools. Teachers are nice. School is a bit small but clean. Cheap tuition with gov coupon. Note: full time nursery.

Children spend time to eat and sleep in the afternoon for whole-day nursery. They get more time to interact with other children.
In fact, I think this is more for working parents.

This school is good:
1) Teachers are kind, close relationship
2) Full day, children will be more independent
3) Students are happy
4) Project approach. Teachers will let students to determine the topic. The school may arrange some outings and activities related to the topic. Children can learn happily.
5) Staffs are good.
6) Close to MTR and Elements.

This school is a hidden treasure. Good quality education, kind staffs, affordable price. They will arrange suitable teaching materials according to actual development of children.

Someone mention they choose KV. I think it is a different choice. KV is more traditional, emphasis on dictations and exercise. Although children may learn know more words, but there is less development on creativity and happy learning. Also, there are too many classes in KV, it is very difficult for you to talk to the teachers. And it is a competing environment in KV where children will learn to compete with classmate even in K1 stage.

I think this is a good school. But will the level too easy and students find it hard to catch in p1.? I hope that it has a good balance of happy learning and academic aspect. I will probably let my girl to study here.

For 九龍站仁愛堂陳鄭玉, N1 and K1 will be easy. K2 and K3 will be more difficult. There should be no problem in connection with P1.

For your information, my kid graduated last year. We had a reunion in Dec 2012 and found kids can handle connection to P1. Of course, most of us said that there are many homeworks in P1.

Thanks. What are the school hours ? i.e. the latest time we have to go to school and the
earliest time to pick up kids. Kids have to go to school on sat. Will there be time
for kids to take some other interest course ?
Moreover, allocation of p.1 schools are mostly goverment or subsidized schools, which is good.
But I like Yaumatei catholic primary school. Not too many kids go to private or 直資. Will kids find
it difficult to find a private or 直資 school or it is parents choice to go to government schools ?

Hi Sharon,
1) School time: N1: 9:00am to 4:15pm, K1 and K2: 9:00am to 4:30pm, K3: 9:00am to 4:45pm
2) School open on Saturday. But you can choose not to go to school. In fact, only few go to school on Sat.
3) Yon can arrange extra things on Sat.
4) There is a YMCA just next to the school. Many courses are suitable for kindergarten students. Many yan oi tong students have classes in YMCA. e.g. English, drawing, music, piano...etc. This centre is quite good. You can find it in YMCA web site. Price is reasonable.
5) School arrange some courses.(extra fee). Usually drawing and coby dance(arranged by YMCA)
6) Ice skating/Ice hockey is a good choice for your kids. Because there is an ice skating school in Elements

Some parents only apply for govt or subsi schools. Some also apply for private or 直資. It depends on you. Their records are quite good. e.g. For govt, Yaumatei catholic, 循道學校(new campus)..etc. For private or 直資, have successful case for ying wah, dgs, spcc.

For me, I like the Project-based learning. They have a lot of effort on this. The result is good.

Yes, the school has school bus. The route should be for TST, Yau Ma Tei, Jordan, Olympic. But the route is different every year, you better ask the school.
