For playgroup for 12 months old. Which one is good? Woodland Happy Valley or Victoria Harbour Heights or Tutal time Braemar Hill.

u can try Baby Buddies close to happy Valley start from 3 months

My children had been studying in Woodlands (Peak & Beachside) since 6 months old until 4, they enjoyed the school life very much and I'm much impressed by the teachers, they're friendly and caring, never letting your child being ignored in class.

Woodlands provides a natural language environment for children, although my children could understand English when they first entered the school, but after joining Woodlands, their verbal English has significant improve, they used a wide variety of vocabulary and sentence structures. I never force them to speak English, but they started to speak English more frequently at home, I was pleased that they learned so much from the school. The school will not conduct any form of interview for new applications, teachers will only hold a casual talk with parents when place comes available to see whether your family is suitable for the school or not.

Apart from languages, self-caring skills and self discipline are also some major concerns of the school, teachers require children to tidy up their toys, clean the tables after snacks, feed themselves and get the snacks by themselves etc. The school encourage students to handle problems by thinking solutions themselves, teacher will guide and lead them to think in different perspectives and children will act as the leading group to solve the problem. This is a very good training for children to learn how to handle certain difficulties and don't be feared by failure. It is important for young children to learn this concept, as they grow up, they'll face adversities, as a parent or teacher, our job is to teach our children the right values and the attitude when we face failure/uncertainties.

I think Woodlands did a very good job towards these aspects, I would say their children are hungry to learn, active and outgoing from what I observed in the past years.

I'm also interested in comments on Woodland Happy Valley playgroup - appreciate any feedback.
ivywhchan - I would suggest that you visit TT Breamar Hill...I did not like the enviornment as there's a smelly pet shop next door and I couldn't drop my kid at the door (need to walk 2-3 min undercovered to entrance); most important, I wasn't impressed with the pg teachers.
