My son got the offer from KTS, and we are thinking releasing the positions from other schools. Can anyone tell me what is the right procedure to release school offer? Call first and fax second? Or need to do that in person?

It's better for you to call the school and ask for what you need to do. Usually a call plus a registered letter will do the job.
