去英國讀U,考GCSE定IELTS容易D?見坊間IELTS書，首次應考者，是否挑戰8,9分均合??難度有幾高?又點温法因有11本?是否一定買書?另考GCSE容易嗎?難度有幾高?又點温法?是否一定買書?定上補習社?新手一問,thx

IELTS has validity time, like 2 years.

GCSE if you take the English only in the exam (not with other 5 or more subjects) , it is not accept in most of the universities.
IELTS if you want to have over 9 scores, you must be like a native english speaker, it's not so easy as people think.

IELTS max is 9, no 9+.

oh, yes, thanks for reminding. know a few people got over 8.5 and 9, almost forgot that 9 is the highest score.

GCSE English is a lifelong certificate. But IELTS is a 2-year certificate.

If you apply for Sixth form and University, your child has to take IELTS twice, but with GCSE English, once is ok!

讀University... 同GCSE無關，依家D大學都唔會再問GCSE成績…

阿仔去年考英國中六，問過其中一間英國學校Itels 7.5分等同GCSE English Grade B, 所以有些學校用ITELS成績都可替代GCSE grade, 他在香港英國文化協㑹考，他覺得IELTS淺過GCSE, 好似都是唔駛2個月便收到Itels 成績。

GCSE = 香港會考. 你入U的時候, 香港都會睇你會考幾分啦~~~

IELTS大約2星期就出成績~
